Beaver Dam Country Club
About
Beaver Dam Country Club sits just a few miles from Horicon Marsh, the largest freshwater refuge in the U.S. The golf course originally opened as a nine-hole layout in the 1960s but now it is one of the area's most popular 18-hole courses. The layout has a traditional design with small, elevated greens and tree-lined fairways. It is on the shorter side at 6,000 yards, at least by today's standards, but it offers plenty of challenges even without having the length. Strategically placed bunkers lurk beside the greens and the rolling terrain guarantees some tricky lies. The third and eighth are two of Beaver Dam Country Club's particularly memorable holes. These drivable par 4s provide you with the opportunity for an eagle, granted you play skillfully and are blessed with a little luck.

Nice course and friendly staff
First time on course and will definitely come back. Friendly staff and very accommodating. Got there early and was able to tee off right away. Tee boxes could use some work but truly enjoyed the round.
Poor service
Workers were not friendly. Couldn't get a drink at all on the course. Tee boxes, fairways and rough all needed to be cut. Only good thing was that the greens were fast
nice little course
Played poorly but always have a good time out golfing
Good and Peaceful
Played it starting at 3:10 and finished at 6:30. Had the whole back 9 to ourselves. The weather was beautiful, Fall colors, flying geese, a relaxing round just trying to be the sun set. Only 10 was unfortunate with twp water crossings. Like this course both times I played it.
Best Condiditon in years
Course is in the best condition it's been in years. Very playable with just enough challenge. A few very difficult, sloping greens.
Decent course with a couple little glitches
great course. Good flag placement. Greens and the boxes in good shape. Only 1 major complaint was 18 on a Saturday, in 80 degree heat, and didn't see a drink cart once, saw it at the clubhouse 3 times, start, turn, and the end. Nice putting green with ten or so holes.
Great course!
I like teeing off on the hills . It is a great course
I hope to golf there again soon! It is challenging! I don't like water so I hope to do better next time!
Great Course
Simply Beautiful, will be looking forward to golfing here next year.
Nice facility
Enjoyed our day of golf at Beaver Dam Country club. Nice conditions, no problems checking in and got out on our scheduled time. Looking forward to playing there again.
Love this course
We went golfing after a large rain storm so it's really not fair to only give them a 3 star rating for the condition of the course. . Normally the course is in good condition. We got black stinky stuff on out shoes when we trying to retrieve our balls from certain areas. Soaked my shoes for 6 hours and they still stunk. I washed them again and then they were better.
BDCC
Have played many courses in the area and this one was up there, not as challenging as some but overall in great shape and fun to play. Would recommend ropes or more defined cart paths since this course seems to hold water in some places but would definitely go back.
Fun course to play
No Beer Cart for a Saturday to bd everything else was very good
tough out of the rough
Very nice course. If you end up in the rough your ball is smothered. Greens are true and fast. Loved playing there. Will come back. I would give the course 4.5 stars
Great course for my wife and in-laws to play
It was a great day to get some golf in with my wife and in-laws. My wife only plays a couple of times a year and my mother in-law just a few more times a year. The course is somewhat forgiving and that was the major reason we chose to play it.
Relaxing time to enjoy your game
Nice variety of doglegs, water, and length makes every hole a new challenge. Placement of your tee shot will be important for your approach on some holes, other are fairly open to allow for space to rip a tee shot.
Greens are large enough to be forgiving on rescue shots, while several are protected by front & rear sand traps.
Some tee to green elevation changes add to the challenge.
Staff was great & very welcoming, course well maintained, pace was excellent.
Will return.
overall great
Helpful staff. Very nice course a little short but great course for a confidence boost in game, but still with challenges. Well maintain even in the fall. Nice facility . 4 star... 5 star for rate.
Great condition for this time of year.
I've been playing this course on and off for over 30 years and it is in as great of shape as ever before. It is not too long but there are enough different lengths of par fours that you can use all of your clubs. The fairways were in great shape and the roughs were hardpan at places due to the recent dry weather. Highly recommended.
Nice Course
The course was in good shape and overall play was steady to slow at times.. Greens were pretty slow but in good shape.. They do need help in the clubhouse and bar.. It seemed one person was handling it all and when we returned after golf No one was available to wait on us.. To bad we would of stayed a while..
Good value for the money
I saw this course in the hot deals section($18/person) and figured it would be worth it. The fairways were average but didn't have any dead or mud spots, the roughs were dry and not terribly difficult. Greens were quick and one of the better features of the course. All in all for under $20 I was pleased with this.
