Kettle Moraine Golf Club
About
Kettle Moraine Golf Club is routed across a diverse landscape of wooded hills and wetlands, offering the ideal setting for parkland golf. The layout is on the shorter side at just over 6,400 yards but it calls for a variety of shots that will ensure golfers stay on their toes. The terrain provides a variety of elevation changes that range from subtle to dramatic. The undulations lend a different character to each hole and there are several interesting risk-reward opportunities available, which means golfers will have to employ a unique strategy for every hole. The front nine starts out gently but the golf course gets progressively more challenging as you move towards the back nine. Kettle Moraine G.C. has been a favorite of the Milwaukee area since it opened in the late 60s.

nice course for hot deals
course in good shape, lots of unfixed divots on the greens. This course needs to have a diagram of what the holes look like either on the score card or next to the tee boxes. Luckily we were paired with someone that has played the course a lot and told us where to shoot.
Nice course
Nice course, it has some challenging holes. Best value in the area. Courses in this area are very over priced.
Well maintained, friendly staff,
Course was well taken cared of. Initial pace was a bit slow at first but quickened up. The players on the course were friendly also. The holes themselves were challenging yet fair. Great value.
Course is very playable for all levels.
Back nine has some holes that were almost unplayable due to standing water in the fairways.
In the middle of the country but the course is in beautiful shape. Best value for a public course.
The course was in great shape and offered a great variety of difficult tee shots and challenging greens. Staff was courteous and for 17$, the price was very generous. Great Bloody's @ 4.25$ (8.00$ in Milwaukee) and reasonable beer prices.
Kettle Morraine provides quite a variety of holes with a wide range of difficulty levels.
This has always been a favorite course of mine. Every hole is unique and the difficulty levels are very diverse. The course is well maintained and the greens are almost always in excellent shape. It is a bit of a ride from the metro Milw. area but if you have the time I find it worth the effort. Between the course itself and golf now there are always resonable rates to be found.
Fairways In the Mire
Course is well maintained although the greens are a bit beat up from heavy use. Several fairways are on top of a bog landscape where it is difficult to find solid footing. In fact, one of my high tee shots actually got plugged when it landed in the 11th fairway.
Nice course condition
The course is in great condition except for a couple of low spots that are a little wet yet! Fairways are real nice and the same for the greens. I just wish people would fix their ball marks. Great course for the money!!
Little slow, but great course
Course was in great shape. Greens were excellent and fairways were near perfect... not that I found them enough. Pace was a bit slow, but it was saturday afternoon with a good GolfNow deal. Will definitely golf here again.
Marshall's need to pay attention to speed of play
We played on a Sunday afternoon. The group in front of us had 2 1/2 open holes in front of them before we finished the front nine. Front nine, 2 hours 45 minutes. We were able to make up time on the back, played in 2 hours. Sand traps were in rough shape, the greens held the ball well. A few holes on the back nine felt like you were playing on a bog. The staff was friendly and very polite.
Course was in great shape.
Course was in great shape. We got paired with another couple that played at a pretty slow pace, so it took quite a while to play. They were a nice couple just didn't play at our normal pace.
Stays Dry!
It is the best course around for play after a big rain! All other courses in the area were walking only, this one had carts, with really no wet spots to watch out for! If you are looking to play when it`s wet go here!
Fun course! Great value expecially on "Golf Now" booking site.
Have played this many times and always have a nice time. The course is fairly forgiving. I only lost one ball yesterday! The course condition has improved since playing it earlier this year. Greens were in great shape. Sue in the pro shop was very accomodating and worked a fourth person into our threesome last minute! Thanks Sue!
a great course for the money
course is a great place to play, good conditions and not overcrowded .
The course was in great shape.
The morning was overcast and cool.
We were the only ones out there but we are kind of hard core so we didn't think much of it.
Mist had started by the 3rd hole when we finished the 4th it was solid and blowing. We got through the 5th and we were wet and our grips were wet. The carts didn't have windshields which made it cold and wet. We had to call it after 5 holes.
Course was fun as usual, but was surprised that it needed some work on a couple of holes.
Beautiful course. Did need some work on a couple of greens, fairways, and tee boxes. To our surprise, quite a few dry patches on some greens and fairways. With all the rain we have had the last couple of months, you would not think there would be dry/dead patches. Some tee boxes could have used some attention. Maybe more seed and some leveling out.
Hardly anyone on the course, which made it very nice! No need to be rushed and could look for balls without worrying about golfers behind.
Workers could pay closer attention to clubhouse. We sat in the clubhouse for quite sometime ready to pay. Saw a couple of customers, but no employees. Finally went to the bar to see where the clubhouse attendant was so we could pay amd get started. Bartender said to pay with him at the bar. Did not seemed to enthused about being at work. Was not the friendliest employee.
Overall, our foursome enjoyed the golf. Will definitely come back again!
Great Value Great Course
Played a Sunday afternoon tee time. Course was extremely busy. At time had 10-15 min waits to tee off sometimes even longer, but that was because the golf course in itself is very well kept and for the price it was a very good deal so it brings out a lot of people.
Great local course, does not need power, but placement
The course has a lot of dog legs, thus does not need distance as much as placement. The greens run true, well maintained. Many holes may accumulate standing water or mud,so beware after any heavy rains or series of wet weather.
saw a pair of whooping cranes with a couple of chicks, which made it even more appealing. Played at a discount, and is worth ~$36 with cart but not the advertised price of $56
