Good value for the money
Good value for the money. Greens and tees not in great shape, but other than that, nice layout and good experience.
A nice place to play
Teed off at 7AM, cart, by myself. The pro shop was open, nothing else. It rained the night before, so it was wet in places but caused little inconvenience. The greens were slow, even the ones that were just cut. Splotchy spots in the fairway and just in the rough. Many of the fairways were narrow, a consistent feature of Northwoods golf. Nice layout. Golf is fun and the course contributed a little to enhancing the enjoyment
Golf with Son and Daughter
Course was in good shape. Had a Fivesome two groups in front of us, but they moved along at a decent pace. Staff was friendly. Tee times were ahead of schedule. Friendly deer wandering course.
TONY worst pro ever
I had played here three yeas ago and it was average. I talked my group into playing here. We had the choice of a dozen courses and it was a huge mistake. The pro in the shop was one of the worst people ever. I can't believe any one in the PGA would let this guy TONY talk to any customers. The course was not in good shape. The bar was closed and no snacks or even a coke or water was available. If they did a complete over hall with staff it might get a 2 star. I will not be coming back here anytime. To many other places to play where the staff appreciates the guest.
Awesome condition
I try to play this course once a year I would play it a lot more if I could afford it. They don’t have any resident or senior discounts and I don’t think it’s worth the $70. price when I can play Northwoods in Rhinelander for $45. They do offer a fall rate but it’s still $50. I give myself a treat once a year and play when the rate goes down. I love the layout of the course especially the back nine. The fairways were plush and the greens were smooth. The reason I’m so price conscious is because I’m retired and have to watch my spending.
Beautiful & Fair
This course is one of the best kept golf courses in the northwoods. The fairway and greens were great. Sand traps were perfectly groomed, not your typical cement trap you see up north. Staff and cart service was outstanding.
Slow
Pace of play to slow. 5 hours for 18 holes, just too long.
