Country Club Estates Golf Course in Fontana is a nine-hole course spread across gently rolling hills. The layout is player friendly enough for beginners and for scratch golfers it's great for a quick round. It can be played in less than two hours. The golf course is wide open, offering beautiful vistas of the Lake Geneva area. It may not be long but it's good practice if you're looking to work on your short game. Proper club selection is the key to scoring well on this course rather than being able to hit long. You'll come across a few blind approaches and the occasional bunker, but it's nothing over difficult. Country Club Estates Golf Course's third hole runs alongside a river and you may catch a glimpse of some wildlife -- including deer and heron -- coming out for a drink of water.

Great 9 hole course
ALways great for getting in a quick 9 on a very sporty and cared for course

Nice, clean, and pace of play has been good both times I've been there. Pretty good value, too.
Country Club Estates
First time playing the course - I scored a 38 (8-10 handicap player) from the blue tees. Greens were in excellent condition. Course has a number of blind shots -both off the tee and to the greens due to rolling hilly nature. However, fairways are generously wide and entrances to greens allow balls to roll on. Enjoyable course for players of all levels.

Well kept, moved along without delays. ...without discount , it would have been a little expensive for the 9 holes....saw 2 deer.

A Hidden Gem
This course has been in Fontana for over 70 years, but has never been in better shape. The greens are outstanding and every tee box has flowers to add to the beauty. Their twilight rate is $15 for 9 holes riding and you can play in about 90 minutes. Great course to get in 9 holes before dinner.

5 minutes from home. They never team you up, and never to crowded.
Challenging Course
Course was in fantastic shape mid may. Difficult course with many blind approach shots. Placement shots are key on this course!
Pleasent Course
Combination of fast greens, rolling hills, and some nature is always good. Great course for relaxing round and beginners.
Pleasant experience - Great Value
The course was well-maintained, the people in the clubhouse friendly. We even saw some wildlife: a deer and a heron came out on Hole #3 (which runs along a river). It was a fairly easy course, nothing terribly difficult. A very relaxing day!

Fun place to play
This course was a little on the short side for average to longer hitters but the hidden greens made this little par 35 course a fun place to play. It's more about club selection than it is about bombing a drive. Located just off lake Geneva, it's a great place to get a quick 9 holes in under 2 hrs and on with the rest of your day.
Great way to spend a couple of hours
This little gem is fun to pay. Staff is great. Course was in great shape. I'll be back soon.
