Fox Lake Golf Club
Fox Lake Golf Club originally opened in 1922 as a nine-hole course and it remained that way for over eight decades until in 2004, a second nine was added. Since there was such a large gap in between when the two nines were created, the course has an interesting character that combines both traditional and modern elements. There are several tough doglegs to contend with and they can be especially hard to maneuver on windy days. A few water hazards come into play in the form of ponds and a meandering stream that runs alongside some of the holes, including what is arguably the golf course's toughest. The par-4 eighth hole doglegs right with a narrow fairway and a small, undulating green. Those who play it smart will favor the left on their tee shot.

This course gets better each year as it matures. A fun course to play as it has few hazards and fairways are wide but some greens are small which makes hole more difficult. In good shape for this time of year.
I played this course trying to get one more round in before the really rough Wisconsin weather set in. Course was in good shape despite all of the October rain. Was a breather at times because the fescue that is normally over a foot tall had been mowed so I was able to rescue a few more shots than normal. I told myself it was a fair trade off for distance lost in 40* weather. Always a fun course with some risk reward action. The par fives are the real gem and a few dog legs keep it interesting. Par 3s could be more protected. Many holes can get difficult from the tips keeping it fun for all golfers.
We have golfed Fox Lake quite a few times and enjoy it very much.. The course is very fair to all types of golfers with 4 sets of tees..The course was in good condition considering the hot weather we have had.. The greens were in excellent shape.. Good value as well ..
Great golf course and staff!
Always enjoy playing at Fox Lake. Fun, challenging and the course is in great shape! The staff is awesome too! Highly recommend.
The course was in immaculate shape. I would suggest different tee boxes on #9 & #11 since they are both in line of both prior greens and could be hazardous to golfers getting ready to tee off. Great bar staff and a lot of very nice people!! Thank you we will be back!
Excellent, just excellent
This is the 3rd time I have played this course. The course is always in excellent condition, consistently excellent condition. Greens are always immaculate, really a wonderful place to enjoy a round. Staff is very friendly and a credit to what the experience is all about!

One reason we go there. Course is a mainly a links course with a few woods holes thrown in to make it interesting. Always in decent condition, with drinking water available.

Great course conditions!
The swallow houses lining each fairway are a great idea to controll the bugs.
