WOW! A herd of elephants must of passed through
before my round. Doesn't anyone repair their divots?
Also don't get in the sand here ! I mean the bunkers filled rocks n dirt!
Who cuts your fairways? A chimpanzee?
Numerous mower skulling, I mean numerous!! throughout a large portion on the course.
Let this place sit for the rest of the year.
It needs the rest.

This is a very average golf course. Conditioning of the course varied. Obviously they are doing little to water the rough areas, as they are burned out and sparse in some areas. Also some burned out areas in fairways, but for the most part the fairways were decent. Greens were hard and rolling fast. I'd say the greens are the best part of the course.

Played on a weekday afternoon, and pace of play was good.

The course itself is a decent set up, but it's tough the first time you play it, because you can't see the surface of the green on most approaches so you have to guess as to the shape and slope of the green.

Overall, not a fan of this course and probably wouldn't actively seek it out, although at the GN price it was a pretty good value. For some reason, even though I scored decently, this course is just not my cup of tea.

The course was in excellent condition. I had not been there for several years. They have added another set of tee boxes since I last played there. As a senior player the new tees made the course much more playable and enjoyable. We got a very good rate thru GolfNow. I will definitely go back as often as I can.

Great layout except for one hole big tree off to the right of the tee box aim left.

First time paying this course and drove about 90 miles to play and thought it was very nice.
I guess only complaint is same as what everyone else is saying,and that is most of the bunkers do need attention. Some fairway bunkers way too soft and one I hit in had rocks almost size of balls not a good feeling if you have nice clubs. Its a course you need to play a few times so you know what clubs to hit off the tee. Greens are quick but I prefer fast greens . some pin placements weren't in fair places for a average gofer but was ok for me. overall nice course

This course was in excellent shape. It was great value for the price. Played midweek, so there was not a lot of traffic

Fire Ridge was superb in all aspects except for the bunkers - which weren't great to begin with but were also overwhelmed by rain the previous day. The course itself had drained very well.

The green were excellent. A good challenge. Firm and quick. Excellent for a public course. A lot of challenging holes. Having a few rounds under your belt is helpful at this course. A few blind shots.

Excellent course. Enjoyed the round. Played a combo of green and white tees. Course now more meets my length issues.

Only downside: bunkers were not raked and were very hard.

It is really nice except for the bunkers, also a bit over priced. The bunkers are awful. If you are not going to put enough sand in the bunkers then shave the lips so one can putt out of them. Another option is turning them in to grass bunkers. Other then the bunkers the place is nice, has a good layout and is well kept. Just cant figure out why they would let the bunkers get rock hard.
Mee-Kwon and Hawthorne Hills are as good or better and a much better value. And no I don't work for Ozaukee County nor do I know anyone who does.

Fun course would play again.

overall great value at the hot deal price. course conditions excellent considering the up and down westher we have had.

I have played this course a dozen times or so. For early spring it was in decent shape. In the summer the greens speed up and the rough grows in and makes it a fun course to play.

I live in Sheboygan and regularly head south down I-43 to Milwaukee, always passing Fire Ridge in Grafton and wondering what the course was like. Last November, I finally was able to find a time that worked for me to head down and get a round in.

For it being early November in Wisconsin, the course was in great shape and the weather was perfect.

The course is a touch easier than others such as The Bog or The Bull, but the greens are fast and there are difficult shots to be had throughout.

I was very impressed with the course and will definitely be back again this year.

Course conditions were very good (aside from the bunkers), tees, fairways & greens in prime condition. They're were some very poor pins. I was above the hole on 2 & they're was no way to stop it within 8 ft. I had 3 putts on the front side that would have qualified as "the most difficult putt I had all year"....I have no idea why they would do that. Saving the pins for weekday play? The bunkers were not raked and were wet & muddy & unplayable...I should add that getting 30 practice range balls for $6 is a little out of hand when you consider 20% or so were run over with a lawn mower.

Great course and staff. several challenging holes especially if the winds off the lake.

This course is a gem and the management makes playing there a great overall experience.
