About
Opened in 1992, Songbird Hills Golf Club began as the dream of longtime Hartland resident, Hal Hoffman. He started designing the course more than 20 years before construction began in 1990, before he even owned the land. Hoffman persevered and eventually established the course that exists today. There have been some improvements over the years, including redesigning the 17th green and putting in an additional water hazard on the 13th, but overall, Hoffman's classic layout hasn't changed much. The golf course's design takes advantage of the rolling terrain and sparkling ponds. The undulating nature of the terrain gives each hole a unique look and different set of challenges. Songbird Hills Golf Club will give you a fair test, but beginners can still feel confident when approaching the course. As its name would imply, numerous songbirds call the area home. Bluebird houses even serve as the 150-yard markers.

Songbird
Nice course. It's a shorter course 5900 (blue) 5300 (white) but still enjoyable. Forgiving of you have a slice or hook. All in all, a nice course
Songbird with friends
Greens and fairways in awesome shape. Pin placements were tough today which was great. Even though we had slot of rain for two days prior the course had very little standing water. Only issue I have with the course is that it's very short. Could not pass up the hot deal price. Also very scenic.

Course was in great shape, breezed through the front nine in 1:45 got backed up behind women's league on back nine took 3:00

This course was in decent condition with the only concerns just being the typical goose droppings scattered everywhere on certain holes.

The course was in great shape. it has a lot of blind tee shots. played my personal best that day. The only thing that would have made it better is if some random person didn't drive in front of the green on #15 as I was about to hit my approach shot to the green.
Additional Review
I had to add to my last review as I did not feel it included enough information. This is such a value for the dollar I think I might have found a new favorite course. For this time of the year it is in such great shape, people so very helpful and friendly I can't put into words. I will be back for many round of golf here and if you have never played this course as I had not, you are missing something special. Can't wait to see what shape this course is in once the weather really starts to improve, I WILL BE THERE !! Thank you again for a very enjoyable round of golf !!
Best value for your buck course!
Considering the time of year it was an excellent shape and it was a great time had by all.
Stacked
Nice course but holes are stacked on one another..Not as open as other courses. Dual greens on some..(shared)
I play here if I must as its close to my house..But prefer Silver Spring CC for the same money.
BLIND
Nice course overall. A lot of blind shots and would be nice to have a better map or gps to know what your next shots will be. If you play it a second time you can score much higher. Grounds were sold for April, greens rolled pretty good. Paid $29 + fees and I think that is just a tick high for the course overall. Come see for yourself, but make sure you drive the cart up for your blind shots or you will be kicking yourself like I was.

For early spring the course was in good condition and the greens were fast
Picturesque course with a number of elevation changes.
Friendly staff and a good overall experience for a round if 18.
We liked it because the holes were not just straight up and down, it made you think.
enjoyed the course very much. being senior's we do not mind being paired up with older people but do not like being paired with guys who can hit the ball 220 yards . they do not like it and we don't. We were lucky we played with two guys our own age. Over all we enjoyed the course very much and would play it again.
Awesome way to tee off my fall birthday weekend!!!
Fall golf with upper 50 degree weather with GREAT sun making it feel warmer was a plus bonus on this gorgeous golf course!!! Everything turned out to be AWESOME!!! From friendly staff service to beautifully cut fairways to cleared fall leaves to clean greens to watching the beginning of a slow motion sunset.....

Excellent course with an amazing lay out!
This was actually my second time playing at Songbird and I already know it won't be my last. They really do a great job maintaining the course because it sure looks nice for it being mid November!

This is a beautifully maintained shotmaker's course.
Greens were in outstanding condition. Some of the pin placements were questionable. Everything condition wise, was very good. Almost every hole has trouble in at least one direction. A modest amount of accuracy is vital. There are places to lose a ball on just about every hole and there are opportunities to score on just about every hole. It is amply challenging for an under 6000 yd. course. It was a very enjoyable round.
