White Birch at Brighton Dale Links
About
There are two 18-hole golf courses available at Brighton Dale Links, White Birch and Blue Spruce. There is also Red Pine, a nine-hole, par-36 course. All three courses are known for their beautiful setting, tucked away amongst cathedral pines and forests of deciduous trees. The marshland and lakes provide a scenic contrast to the abundance of trees that cover the rolling hills. At 6,977 yards from the back tees, White Birch is the longer of the two championship courses by about 300 yards and it offers the slightly tougher challenge. Water comes into play frequently as do strategically placed bunkers. The towering trees that line the fairways and frame the holes pose the most intimidating threat though. Accuracy is essential and good course management will be generously rewarded.

All things considered.
With the exception of the damaged area due to recent flooding the course was in good shape. Greens were in great shape.
Awesome Thanks!
Perfect Thank you!
Great course
Besides the very hard bottomed bunkers (being renovated though) the course is in great shape!
Thank you!
Great Value
The weather was beautiful and the course is in pretty good condition. The one complaint I have is the sand traps. What sand is in them is more like dirt and there are a number of traps that appear to be under construction and look like they have been for some time based on the weeds growing in the piles of dirt.
Other than that one minor issue (and that I spent too much time exploring said sand traps) The course was great and I plan to return again soon!
Thanks for playing sorry about the traps they are being renovated currently.
Great day to be at the course
Weather was absolutely perfect.......low to mid 70's. Course in very good shape other than areas where some sand traps look like they are being removed.......holes with multiple traps. Greens all in very good shape. Fairways have reasonably good multiple cuts.
Thanks for playing and thanks for nice comments.
Thank you
Tough course, soggy conditions
I played Brighton Dale Blue Spruce last year. It was a little more difficult than courses I'm used to playing, but I enjoyed it and the course was in excellent condition.
This year I saw a deal on the White Birch course, so I took it up. Again, quite challenging but not impossibly tough. The course wasn't in very good condition, however. Some fairways were very soggy, to the point where I was surprised they didn't tell us to keep the cart on the path, however I did get chastised once for parking the cart too close to the green (I was just following the tracks of obviously several other carts).
There was a lot of ground under repair, but I guess I shouldn't be too hard on it because it's April. Also I was disappointed the driving range was closed.
There was a large outing taking place on the Blue Spruce, so I understand that the staff was quite busy, but I felt like the two guys behind the counter at the clubhouse didn't even want to help me at all.
I saw the drink cart exactly 2 times during 18 holes. It was a nice day; 60 degrees and sunny, and I wanted to have a few beers.
I feel like I'm being a bit harsh on this course considering it's April, so I will say it's one of the nicer courses I've played for under $50.
Thank you for comments. Also thank you for some of the criticisms they allow us to perfect our craft.
Beautiful golf course
Every hole in this golf course is beautiful. Don't need to worry about wind because each hole is protected by very tall trees. Excellent overall!
Loved it!
I love this course. Beautiful and a good value. Well worth a little extra drive!
Racine/Kenosha county
Best course in the two counties.
Needs a starter
A little confusion at the start due to no starter, but we managed to keep pace of play by joining another twosome.
Great course at a great rate
My friend and I really enjoyed our round. The course was in great shape and the pace of play was perfect.
A 4 star county course?
This was my first time playing this course. Actually only my 2nd time in Wisconsin. I have never heard of a 4 star county course. However this is one of them. it was Saturday so it was a little slow. The ranger twice offered to let me skip holes or move to a different 9. I was playing alone, but I was in no hurry. The course is in great shape. I could not believe the green had virtually no pitch marks. People must really respect this course. Cart girl was as pretty as she was timely. And that is a 8 or 9. Go play it!
Great course and reasonably priced
I would go back anytime in great shape
Slow windy day
No starter, very slow play ready to go home after 5 holes.
Course in great condition!
Course conditions are near perfect.
Awesome course
The white birch course was great to play with a lot of pretty views
Nice track
Course was in great shape. Greens were very smooth.
Speed was about 8.5, pretty average. Rough was quite thick in areas. Over all, a tough chalenge from the blue tees. I would give it a solid 9 for a county course.
Tougher than you might think
This course is quite tight and must be played smartly
Thank you we appreciate the comment.
Thanks for understanding I am glad you enjoyed your round.
