Very Very Nice County Course
This was our first time to play the Blue Spruce course and we had a great time. The course was in excellent shape and the holes were interesting and a good test. I used most all my clubs. Greens were a bit slow, most likely from the recent rains. But they rolled true if you gave it a rap. This course is well worth the trip of 35 miles and usually has a good value available for you. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Brighton Dale Links - Blue Spruce
Need more Rangers / Marshalls on course.
Play was VERY slow, front 9 had group of 4 that was taking 3-4 hits off the tee box and 2 hits off the fairway, had group of 9 on the back that was playing a scramble, but waited on every hole. Marshall had excuses for them
blue spruce
The only real issue was the muggy weather, course in great shape, play not too slow(for a weekend), had a great time!
BLUE SPRUCE
The course was in great shape. If you play it is to your advantage to play from the correct tees for your handicap. If you play from the longer tees the course can be difficult. Shorter hitters will have more fun from the gold tees.
poor course
we seen the beverage cart twice in eighteen holes of golf. the second hole which really didn't make sense, seeing as we just started golfing. then on the seventieth hole when we were leaving.
saturday golfing
golfing was good but we had walkers in front of us which it made it extremely slow very frustrating
Poor organization
My tee time was 12:52 for the Blue Spruce with a friend of mine. We had to wait until approximately 1:15 to even receive a cart because the course was so busy. How do you not have enough carts to accommodate the busiest day of the year for golf? We ended up playing the White Birch course because it appeared to be moving a little bit faster. The ranger finally came around when we were on the 14th hole to ask how the pace of play was. We were stuck behind a group of six for the entire back nine. Six guys! The course condition, rate and weather were great which still made for an overall good round.
Highly Recommended
Very well laid out course that's clean, picturesque,
nicely groomed, beautiful fairways and well kept greens. Sand traps are well sifted, maintained, and enough water to keep you humble.
Brighton Dale - Blue Spruce Delivers Great Golf
Course is kept immaculate. Greens are moderately fast and in great condition. The beauty of Brighton Dale is the natural glacier moraine setting. It was a perfect place to build a golf course. Up and down, rolling hills, water, trees... a beautiful setting for a day of golf. You get that over the river and through the woods feeling. The staff are courteous and the food on the course is typical, brats and dogs.
Spent a wonderful day and will be back for more.
A jewel of a golfing facility!
My two friends from Green Bay came down for the weekend for golf, and a backyard BBQ. We played the Blue Spuce course at the 45-hole Brighton Dale links facility in Kenosha County. Course has a driving range, and a couple of beautiful practice greens. I'm never dissapointed when I play any of these courses. Greens and fairways were in great shape, drinking water every few holes and the beverage cart girl was extremely polite and friendly. She said thanks for coming out to play today, and ditto for the young man working at the cart return area who was cleaning/washing the carts. Kenosha County does a great job maintaining it's public golf courses, and appreciates it's customers.
Pick a 9 and enjoy every shot
This course just gets every time I play it...The conditions are over the top great. My complement to the grounds crew as this place is always at the top of my list. The T-boxes are perfect and the rest of the course matches. Great risk and reward shots throughout the course...you'll want to play over and over as they just do a great job here. Food is a bonus as it's great and the prices are average for the area. Pace is another bonus and you just pick a 9 and there's not a better one to pick as they all have great holes to play. Thanks again for continuing to make this course so enjoyable.
First round out early in the season after a major storm
The course was in good condition. Carts only allowed on the cart paths. Staff always pleasant and friendly. Pace of play slowed by cart path only play.
Brightondale Blue
Brightondale is a nice hidden treasure. I've played several times this year. The course is maintained year round and is in great condition. There are several tees to choose from, depending on your skill level. A great value.
Fall Golf
We played on a Monday afternoon in mid-September and finished in 3.5 Hr. The course was in great shape but is was wet in a few places.
awsome for value
staff didn't open the door till 6;15, I was hopeing to start early
Premier Public Course. Great Value
Course is challenging for all tees. Conditions very good. Rough is deep. Very friendly staff.
FUN COURSE
I HAVE PLAYED THIS COURSE MULTIPLE TIMES. THE COURSE WAS IN GREAT SHAPE. THE GREENS ROLLED BEAUTIFULLY. FOR $18 DOLLORS YOU CAN'T BEAT THE VALUE.
Great Course
This is a great course. Awesome condition, challenging but fun to play even for ladies. We had played the white course before and liked that one as eell. We are hoping to go back on Thursday with friends who haven't played it before. We are an hour away in Illinois.
Brighton Dale Golf Links (Blue Spruce)
The Good: 45-hole complex southwest of Milwaukee boasts parkland layouts and challenging greens. The Blue Spruce course winds through heavy woodlands and has several challenging Par 4's, decent Par 5's, and several long Par 3's. Greens are moderately sized, hold well, and have some undulation. Nice driving range and decent putting green accessible to all the courses. Good value for greater Milwaukee area.
The Bad: Course conditions can get soggy with a little rain. Clubhouse and on-course amenities are limited. No GPS or restroom areas on course. Staff is not overly helpful but nice enough. Blue Sprice layout has too many quirky holes and not enough variety in Par 4's.
The Verdict: Blue Spruce at Brighton Dale does not have any "bells and whistles", but course is interesting enough. Arguably the best 18 of the complex. There are better courses nearby for similar cost.
Best Hole: The Par 5 closing hole winds around water hazards and requires three precise shots to end the day on a good note!

Everything was great. Fun course, friendly staff, superb conditions.
