Luck Golf Course
Luck Golf Club sits along the southern shores of Big Butternut Lake. Throughout the course golfers will enjoy scenic lake views. The diverse landscape provides the course with 10 holes that play across dramatic hills studded with forests of mature pines and hardwoods while the rest of the holes cross more gently rolling terrain accented with towering maple and oak trees. The trees line the fairways and frame the greens. On many holes there are significant changes in elevation both on the fairways and from the tee to the green. Tricky uneven lies await you as well as a few blind shots. Luck Golf Club's seventh hole is the course's signature. This dogleg right par-4 has a long, narrow green that is guarded in the front by a stone-lined pond and a menacing cluster of trees stands behind the green.

Great community golf course
This is a great community golf course. They support local community businesses, organizations and veterans prices are set so that everybody can pay and have a good time. Hospitality can't be beat.
1st time playing in Luck, nice layout, challenging! Some storm damage still evident but didn’t affect play! Our threesome was impressed. Will come back!
This our first time playing this course. Despite the courses losing hundreds of trees during a storm, the week prior, The course was in great condition, and was fun to play.
A beautiful setting
I can see management takes great pride in this course. Very challenging. And great staff!
Good golfing challenge for all abilities
Wonderful country setting. Friendly staff. Very seldom is pace of play slow. Variety of holes. Good test of your golf skills.
Still great after 20 years!
First played this course in 1986. They have made numerous improvements since than. If you can keep your tee ball in the fairway this is a very fun course to play. Will definitely play again and I won't wait 20 years this time.
Would cost 4 times more at a golf resort
This was my first time playing Luck Golf Course and I had a great experience. The course was well maintained, the greens were fantastic, and the layout was challenging and visually interesting. Even though some of the par 4's are short, you couldn't just hit driver - wedge due to strategically placed doglegs, trees, etc. The clubhouse was clean, roomy, coffee was free, they had a couple of free donuts, and a glass of beer was only a buck. How can you beat that!?!?
I will definitely play the course again, maybe earlier in the season before the leaves start to drop, it did make finding balls a bit challenging if you ended up off of the fairway.
Greta course but got rained out
This is a challenging course for most golfers. Elevation changes and doglegs are prevalent on the hours we played with wood fairways. As we got rained out early can't say more. I have to go back and play it again.
another great day
Golfing on Sunday with my Son . the staff is always extra friendly and the course is well taken care of . what more do you want excellent price yes they have that as well .
Best in the local area
Really fun and challenging course. Staff is always great and the conditions are good. Can get a bit leafy in the fall but that is tough to avoid up here. Love it.
Wonderful first time experience
Got a good first time experience. I will definitely play at this course again
My wife and I play this course for the beauty but the value is super.
Above average value and challenging.
I golf this course a few times a year when I am in the area. It is a good mix of some tight holes through the north woods and some conventional golf holes. The greens have some slope and can be tricky. Our round was a little slow because of the holiday, but all-in-all, this course is worth it.
