Luck Golf Course
About
Luck Golf Club sits along the southern shores of Big Butternut Lake. Throughout the course golfers will enjoy scenic lake views. The diverse landscape provides the course with 10 holes that play across dramatic hills studded with forests of mature pines and hardwoods while the rest of the holes cross more gently rolling terrain accented with towering maple and oak trees. The trees line the fairways and frame the greens. On many holes there are significant changes in elevation both on the fairways and from the tee to the green. Tricky uneven lies await you as well as a few blind shots. Luck Golf Club's seventh hole is the course's signature. This dogleg right par-4 has a long, narrow green that is guarded in the front by a stone-lined pond and a menacing cluster of trees stands behind the green.

Very nice
Course was in great shape, greens rolled fast and true. Had a great time playing here, played our round in about 3.5 hours (twosome). Has some elevation change a couple of crowned greens, we got a golfnow hot deal (always the way to go if you can) for $13 so fantastic value. Check it out if you're considering it I don't think you'll be disappointed.
A hidden gem in NW Wisconsin
It had been 20 years since last playing this course and will now be a regular spot to go. I remembered that it had nice tree lined fairways and I guess my memory is not gone after all!! Although every leaf had fallen to the ground and it was sometimes very difficult to find your ball if you found it at all, I still had a blast playing here. The course had been hit hard by a storm just 8 weeks earlier and lost about 50 trees, it will still be a beautiful place to play a round of golf. Gwen the manager was so very nice and my brother and I can't wait to return next year when the trees are full and green. Thanks for a wonderful experience and I look forward to next time!!!

Awesome day
We played this course last year for the first time. We knew we would go back and we finally made it yesterday. It was another great experience.
The course is challenging, beautiful and the staff is the best. Thank you for another great day of memories to help us get through the long winters!
Luck
Staff was very friendly all around. Course was in good shape. Tight fairways so it can be tough if you're not driving the ball straight. I saw a lot of deer around the course which is nice to see. It's a pretty bumpy course so a kidney belt would be nice if your riding.
great sbape
Luck golf course is in great shape. Fast well kept greens
Beautiful and Challenging 18 Holes!
This course is a hidden gem that you need to make sure you do not pass up. Beautiful, well maintained course, and the friendliest staff you will ever find!
We had a fun round at the Luck course
The staff was extremely friendly. The course was in somewhat rough shape after a tough winter, but we still had fun. I am sure things will improve with a little time.
Beautiful surroundings
Fall colors at Luck are spectacular. As a senior, I enjoy this course because
the length allows me to have a lot of 100 to 130 yd approach shots. The greens have just the right amount of trickiness.
If you slice or hook, in the woods you'll look!
Rolling tree lined fairways make hitting a straight tee-shot essential. The greens were very quick, except for #7 and #12, both had been repaired and were like patchwork quilts.
Print and bring your receipt, as the worker at the till, didn't trust that I had pre-paid my greens fee,and insinuated that I would come back and play other days "without paying".
Tight course on the front.
The front nine is heavily tree lined, much like a "resort" course would be. Overall a good course and plays fair. We had a good time.
