PLAYED HERE FOR YEARS
It's an average course which could be in better condition.
Too many 2somes slowed play butt not drastically
Interesting course layout
Played the course for the first time
Really enjoyed the layout and some interesting holes
Due to the excessive rain the past few days, the fairways were a bit long, the staff has been unable to mow
I will differently play the course again
Good mix
Front 9 is short but makes up for it in variety and tough greens. Back is long but wide open there are a couple nice par 3's . Always great conditions even during no rain periods. Will always come back!!
A nice round with barely any other people on the course. This was Mother’s Day so assuming not a ton of women wanted to go golfing. The course was in good shape for so early in the year. The back nine is a little boring as it’s newer and has a field like feel. Greens can be challenging and are in great shape.
Excellent Value
The course is well-maintained (do remember you didn't pay $125 to play) and the two nines are challenging yet different. The front is short and the greens are small. There is also lots of trouble on the front. The back is long so the challenge there is to hit a good tee shot or maybe two good shots in a row to get on in REG. Greens can be very fast at times adding to the challenge. The setting and layout of this course make it fun for everyone and the staff is always very accomodating. I rated the course at 4 stars because of the number of high-end, beautiful courses that are available. For the money though I rate it at 5 STARS.
Good Value
Played course for reduced golfnow fee. Was by myself in a cart and played the course (18) in about 3 hours. Front is shorter and back is much longer. Good value and nice course
Nice place to play occasionally...
Overall a nice experience but place of play on the front nine was bad and the rough is too long on all holes I know I should not be in the rough but I was... and lost many balls because we could not find them in the deep rough.
Very pretty
The course had some challenging holes, which we liked!
Fun course!
I really enjoyed the layout! A shorter course, but it makes you think about where you need to land the ball on some holes and let it fly on others. Highly recommend to others, and I will be playing there again when I am in the area.
I have been playing this course since it has opened and only had 9 holes. A very challenging course .
Course is in excellent shape but they could cut the rough shorter. Can have hard time finding ball and those holds up play.
Nice course for the miney
Play league here weekly. It's a nice public course for the money.
trouble at the pro shop
The attendant at the pro shop said I had only one confirmed reservation. I have my two confirmation sheets with me but at first he wouldn't accept them he wanted to charge the second player full price for the round and not the hot deal price. He then said I had to deal with golf now to get reimbursed. I told him the problem with golf now was his and not mine and he needed to deal with them. A second employee finally came and accepted the two reservations. The course was fine the service was upsetting
Friendly and Fun. Great deal!!
The price was hard to beat on golf now and the tee time is early enough to get out and still have time to have the rest of the day. Always a slight challenge yet fun to play.
A Mixed Bag
Course needs to do a better job of managing its players. Played back nine first due to junior golfers starting on front nine. Played first 4 holes fine, then young golfers decided they could go to any hole that they wanted and jumped in front of us. Their instructor told them to allow us to play through, but we still were delayed on several holes until an adult came along. When we made the turn we got behind a foursome that was dreadfully slow and didn't allow people through. First 9 had been slow at 2 1/4 hours, but was over 30 minutes faster than the 2nd nine.
Beautiful course!
We had an early tee time at 7:45. Course in great shape. Can't complain about anything!
Not fun
Booked a tee time on golf now. The front nine went O.K. Shot a 39. When we went to the back nine there were 3 foursomes waiting to tee off in a golf outing. The pro said if I had not booked online he could have told me about the outing. At least he gave us a raincheck for the 2nd nine. Very poor management! !!
Slow players.
We played the front nine at a snails pace because of an super slow foursome 2 groups ahead that was not letting anyone play through. Luckily they quit after nine and we played the back nine 45 minutes faster than the front. This isn't a problem only at Pine Valley, but with golf in general. If you are not waiting for players in front of you and players behind you are waiting for you, PLEASE, let the group behind play through. You will probably help your game and for sure help the game of golf. Now, back to Pine Valley, I can't imagine anyone playing Pine Valley and being disappointed. There are hole to challenge every strength in your game and expose every weakness. I have played it many times and the conditions have always been very good at least..
