Located just 30 miles northeast of St. Paul, New Richmond Golf Club offers one of the area's most popular and most challenging layouts. There are two courses available at the club, the 18-hole Old Course and the reversible nine-hole, par-36 Links Course. The Old Course sprawls across 173 acres of gently rolling hills dappled with mature trees. The Willow River meanders through the layout, cutting through the fourth, fifth and seventh holes. The trio serves as New Richmond's own "Amen Corner," featuring a challenging mix of water and sand that will test the skills of even the best players. The par-4 fifth hole is in fact the no. 1 handicap hole with not only the river on the right but also a pond on the left. New Richmond Golf Club is also known for having the "Best Practice Facility in Western Wisconsin," which includes a 32-station driving range and expansive chipping and putting greens.

great greens, the end.
Great greens...
Unfortunately the layout is poor and the pace of play is the worst i've ever experienced (and i've played inver hills on the weekend).
Over 2 hours to play 4 - 9, midday mid week...unacceptable.
Very old clientele who played as if they were trying to win a major, and the rangers didn't say a word. Great greens but life is too short.
The course
Greens are fast, but true which is what I like. I could not afford to golf New Richmond if not for Golf now.com The yardages from the score card are very helpfull
Nice Course
Fun golf course. It was in great shape. The only bad was hitting of the mats at the driving range. Other than that it was a great time and I will be going back.

Course is in great early season condition!
We found the course to be in great shape. This is early in the season for the location and they did a great job getting the track
ready for play. Grass on fairways was lush and the greens run true although just a bit slow.
We play again, especially with a hot deal price it was a very good value.
great course, great people
This is an under rated gem. The creek running through the front nine is picturesque and the conditions are great. The only thing that held up our pace was a few struggling holes for people in our group. Always my first choice in the area for quality and value.

I was impressed with the layout of this course. Through pine and evergreens, it is quite picturesque and holes are interesting. Unfortunately they just aerated the greens, so putting was a bit of a joke. Please, please, please inform players with the appropriate RED exclamation point that gives players the knowledge of an "aeration alert" before they book tee times!! With so many choices on goifnow.com, this will be most helpful in making decisions on what course to play. Thanks.

Great local course
New Richmond is a mature course with a challenging layout and variety in the holes. Having fully grown trees helps the difficulty of the holes and forces you to play smart. One of the nicer courses in the area.

Excellent greens
The course was pretty standard but the greens were outstanding and challenging.
Was very slow play for first 12 holes, then group in front stopped as did the twosome I was paired with. The foursome in front and twosome I was with were elderly and not in a hurry at all. Maybe it's generally faster play.
Look for deals online, I got a great rate.
a hidden gem
Make the drive to new Richmond, it's well worth it.been one of our favorite courses for years. Beautifully typography and fast greens. A traditional old time golf course!
Great Course!
This was our first time playing at the New Richmond Golf Club, but we thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff was great, the course was in wonderful shape and we were able to golf as just our two-some without being paired with another group. Overall, my boyfriend and I left saying to ourselves that we will definitely be back soon!
New Richmond Good value
The course was in now nice shape for 4-25 and the course plays very fair.
The carts are electric and smooth.
Greens are running kind of slow when we played but can get very quick when cut short.
I like the course and drive from the twin cities to play it when I can snag a hot deal on Golf now.
Beautiful course
This course was in amazing shape for mid April It has beautiful trees with an awesome layout. Friendly and accommodating staff. Will definitely be back to this Agusta of the north when the trees and flowers are in bloom.
Nice course
Love the layout of the course. Lots of trees which will make it a little more difficult once the leaves come in. The course has always been in good shape every time I have played it. Has a very nice practice area.
