This course is ruined. I used to enjoy playing it many years ago, but it's no longer presentable. It was a ghost town. Even though no one else was on the course, the pace of play was slow because you spend all day searching for your balls in the mile high rough (even if you knew where they were). You can't decipher where the fairway ends and the rough begins on many holes. The fairways and greens are plagued by patches of dead grass and weeds. I expected the course to be in poor condition considering the cheap price for 18 holes with a cart ($19), but it's not even worth that much. It's such a shame, Olde Highlander has the potential to be a really nice course. It's pretty long and has some very interesting and challenging holes. Unfortunately, it's been neglected for so long that I doubt it will ever bounce back. I likely won't return.
