Go play somewhere else
Won’t be playing here ever again. Staff is unfriendly and incompetent; they think the course is way nicer than it is. Pace of play is awful. Course conditions were bad.
This place sucks
This golf course is horrible and so is the staff. They act like a pro golf course with amateur staff. The pace of play is so bad they yell at golfers for playing correctly. I will never play here again or recommend it to a friend.

Why would Golfnow allow this course to advertise HotDeal rates $35. which are the same as their normal rates $35.....is this a joke or is it that GolfNow standards are being compromised?

Blackwood remains one of the best values in public course golf
Winter Golf
Course is in great condition considering the time of year and should only improve if Spring weather cooperates. Gold tees are way forward of the White tees if planning a mixed age match.

Nice layout, great views. Staff is always friendly. Course for the most part is keep up well. Always a good bargain.

soggy mess
while the weather was warm, the ground was soaking wet! add 30 mph winds and I would have been better off just going for a walk. lost 3 balls that plugged in the fairway! waiting for spring time!

Blackwood - Silverbear
This was the first time that I have played Blackwood and I really enjoyed the round. The fairways were well maintained as well as the greens. I would recommend this course to both novice and experienced golfers.
2nd Time Playing Here
Played within 3 weeks of both times here. I’m more of a mediocre golfer who just enjoys going out, can’t seem to stay in the 90’s consistently but I love this course. It was in great shape especially for it being early November! Fairways are a little tight at spots but I’m just reaching for something to complain about. Staff is great, if ya get beers for your play they bag them up in a cooler with ice for you. Will be playing here a lot more in 2020.
it’s just okay
This course is simply okay. Finding balls is a challenge. The greens were painfully slow. Most of the bunkers were unplayable. You can spray the ball around and still score. The course is priced right, so keep in mind that your getting what you pay for. It will be a while before I come back.

played in three hours fifteen minutes!
greens best condition that have been all year!
leaves cleared pretty well. hope it stays warmer a couple more weeks!
Good October Round
Good weather for one of the last rounds of the year. Pace fo play was a little slow but there was a frost delay for the earlier tee times which backed everyone up.
Course was in good shape.
wish I had known ahead of tome
that the greens were recently aerated. greens inheritantly slow so adding arration made rolling putts impossible. course in nice shape besides greens
