number of golfers with me today at Saddle Rudge
Y0u indicate that there were 4 golfers with us today. I only made reservations for two persons and only two of us golfed.. Please do not charge me for 4 golfers.
thank you, Diana Lee-Padley
Great little course
We had trouble finding bottled water before our round. We ended up getting water (and bathrooms) from the restaurant which came in styrofoam cups. Clubhouse guy was very nice and helpful.
The course was fairly empty when we played. The houses surrounding the course are pretty tight to the fairways and some had netting protecting their windows. That added a degree of anxiety for us boogie golfers. The course was great; we had a great round. Did not really bump up to other groups until the last couple of holes. Great value for the money.
A suggestion would be to have clearly marked signs for bathrooms. Our cart got us around the course, but was definitely lacking in some power.
We were just visiting the area and found the course on GolfNow. We'll play again if we ever vacation here in the future.
Better than thought it would be.
The course was in better shape than I thought it would be. Not bad for the price. The staff was friendly and accommodating.
Needs some work
This is the first time this year I’ve been out on this course and it’s not in great shape. The tee boxes, greens are not in respectable fashion.
They have put a lot of money into the new bar/restaurant but that is about it.
Will try again next summer.
Nice course
I thought the course was a good layout for a beginning golfer like myself. A bonus to this course is hey have a Par 3 course set up at each hole in addition to the normal course. Decent amount of water hazards which presented a nice challenge. I played late morning and never had to wait at a hole. I did think it was a bit expensive for 9 holes and a cart.
Best little hidden gem
We discovered this 9 hole gem located in portage Wisconsin about 45 minutes outside of Madison. Surrounded by woods and scenery with Wisconsin friendly you can’t beat the price and small but tasty amenities. From the smoked brisket to the cheese curds this speaks “up north” all over.
The course itself is suited for beginners but can challenge any golfer with its narrow fairways. You can even play a back nine par 3 with tees set up accordingly.
Never rushed this place is great for a relaxing golf outing. Give it a try!
Pine Trail Golf Course is now Saddle Ridge Golf Course
In October of 2017 David and Margie Druce purchased the Pine Trail Course and since that time they have continued to upgrade everything.
From a professional grounds keeper and excellent course staff the grounds are in great shape. New equipment to care for fairways and greens and constant attention to detail.
A challenging course for all levels with water, and natural challenges such as marsh land boarding some of the fairways.
I am sure everyone will come away remembering this experience.
Great quick 9
Was at Dells and found open time last minute. The attendant was very friendly and thanked me multiple times for coming out. Although course was little wet from the rains the layout is interesting and overall fun to play. Was able to finish in 1:30.
great course rude staff in pro shop
Played course when we arrived staff said we had to be done in 1 1/2 hours because the have a shotgun start outing. When asked why tee time was offered staff replied this what they don't know or tell you when you book.
good food, good price, good experience
We ate a large, responsible price hamburger for lunch prior to golfing. The food was excellent. Unfortunately the course owner doesn't like Golf Now. I wish your organization would contact him regarding his concerns.
Great Value
Nice little course with affordable rates making it a good value. Food and drink prices can't be beat. Friendly and helpful staff.
This course was great
The course was a challenging course for me. I have not golfed in 2 years.
Owner is rude to Condo Owners when called about the golf course's mower driving down the driveways to access the course.. Bob claims this has been done for years. I have lived here over 18 years - Bob, it's not acceptable. It is not the Pine Trail Golf Course property. It causes damage to SREA grounds. Bob hangs up on owners when they complain. Will continue to complain, and may lodge a complaint with the BBB. You have NO legal access to your grounds via the driveways of SREA. I will call the Columbia County Sheriff's Dept if your grounds mowers continue to access your golf course via my driveway.
