River Falls Golf Club

The Ranger was very accommodating with allowing me to play as a single. He sent me off the back nine first to allow for quicker play. He did warn me the second nine might be a bit slower due to the many foursomes. The maintenance crew had just aerated the greens so the were a bit slower and rougher than normal, but that is to be expected. Otherwise the course was in tremendous shape. I do plan on returning with a group to play again soon.

We saw a deer walking up the cart path in the middle of the afternoon,which added to the great golf experience.

Solid place for a regular outing. The course plays fair and if you hit it square, you score well.

Played here before, clubhouse has been upgraded which was nice. However, found out the price I got was the standard weekend rate, but the Golf Now ad was for 15 or 20% off (I thought). So with the $4.98 Golf Now cost, it cost me $5 more than just calling the course myself. So what's the benefit of using GN?

Very nice course in good shape. Greens and fairways were in great shape. Tee boxes average and rough was a bit torn up due recent heavy rain. Watch out for slow play-we played the front in just under 2hrs-the back took almost 3hrs due to a fivesome.a couple groups ahead of us.

Front nine holes beautiful layout. I'm looking forward to play a round again.

I like the course except for one par 5 on the backside. You have to tee off with a 6 iron or so and don't have a realistic chance of going for the green in 2 (at least I couldn't). Other than that the course was fun, mosquitoes were out, so make sure to bring bug spray.

Played Friday afternoon in good time. We were third group of twosomes in a row. A mystery twosome hopping around course appeared behind us and continued to pressure us even bough they played their 18 holes. They hit in os four times and it was going to end up w the one legged man knocked out. I would not go back . Too many blind tee shots that idiots crowding you will hit u.

great shape played fast fairways perfect greens very smooth medium pace, great value for money

Course has a good layout,very thick rough,greens and rest of course very well kept,I will be back again soon.

Great course in superb shape ..watch out though the rough is US OPen depth and THICK. Wonderful venue...will play again as soon as I can

We enjoyed a beautiful day of golf. The weather was great and the value was too. Great group of friends got together for a wonderful time. Hospitality of staff was excellent.

Considering we had a late spring the course was in great shape and will only get better. The fairways are good and the ruff is deep and full, some very interesting holes that require you to play the course more than once to learn where to go and where to not go. The greens are large and undulating but still a fun course. Whites are 5963 and Golds are 5237, wish there was something in between, a combo of the Whites and Gold. Too bad it is so far away but I will go back for a day of golf.

First time to the course, we went Mother's Day. Great rate through GolfNow. The course was in pretty good shape considering how early in the year it is. The difficulty was that we didn't know what to expect at each hole. There are quite a few blind hills and you are not sure to which side of the fairway you should be aiming. We really enjoyed it and plan to play there again soon. It's an easy trip from the eastern subs.

I think this course is an excellent value it's beautiful the staff is friendly and the course conditions were great I would highly recommend this course

When I played on May 5th I expected the typical early spring conditions you'd find at any course. River Falls' fairways wintered very well, & while they were soft enough that day to yield mud on the ball in places due to all the rain we'd had, overall they were superb. The grounds crew has done an terrific job of cleaning out all the debris normally left from a hard winter. But the big news is the quality of the greens--healthy, green, smooth, & already firm & quick. Outstanding!!
