River Run Golf Course

Course was in great shape! I was a single, w/a minimal wait. Played thru couple of foursomes on front, then hooked up with a twosome on the back. Once again the pace of play was great. I couldn’t of asked for a better pace of play! I would recommend it to anyone!!

Good condition, good price, fast play, but day was very warm. Liked everything about the course. What I thought was funny is that they have "fake" wolves near the greens to keep the geese away but the geese ignore them. I think they need to hire a few herding dogs to chase them off the course. Would recommend.

Great pace of play nice lay out greens in good shape a little slow for my taste.

Fairways and greens were terrific. Ladies day and they made us play fast. Three and a half hour round. Driveing range needs work is the only negative.

Fun layout. Very pretty. Great staff and good Bloody Mary's. Manageable for couples.

the course was nice a little wet but ok the play was very slow 2 some with card over 4 hour three groups of 2 in front of us two

Had a great time golfing River run. Saw there was an on site restaurant decided to eat there before our round.Met some really nice people while we were eating.Bruce gave us some very nice information on the course.Really enjoyed the landscaping and over all condition of the course. We will be back!

River Run is a well maintained golf course that provides a just right balance of challenges for the everyday golfer. While the course is not that long, many of the holes provide decision making challenges to be successful - water, trees, and doglegs just to name a few. If you're looking for a fun round of golf on a 'not your run of the mill' golf course, this is it. Sadly the day I golfed it had rained significantly prior to my round and the course had standing water in many places, a hazard to a course built on a river flood plain. So watch the weather and make it point to get on over to River Run, you'll be glad you did!

I wish I lived closer so I could become a member. This is really a nice golf course that rewards good ball striking. It is challenging without being all tricked up. It makes for a very enjoyable golf experience. The food is good, the bar is good and the staff and patrons are friendly. Even though it's a long drive, my friends and I come here often because we enjoy it so much.
