Rivermoor Golf Club

About
Originally opened in 1929 as the Waterford Woods Golf Course, the club reemerged in 2008 as the Rivermoor Golf Club. Along with its new name, the club also revealed improvements to the playability and condition of the 18-hole course. The design of the golf course was largely determined by the scenic topography, which is covered with mature trees and dotted with ponds. There are also a few streams that meander across the landscape. Rivermoor Golf Club is a proud member of the Audubon Sanctuary System. Beyond providing a secluded setting and great scenery, the terrain also makes for a challenging round. The trees frame most of the holes and water hazards come into play on a few holes. There are also strategically placed bunkers with which to contend.

Very nice
The course is in very nice shape even with the greens been prepared for winter but the best is the friendly staff
Lots of trees
Need well placed drives to score well on this coarse not long but narrow fairways lined with trees
Awesome
Nice fairways, greens in very nice shape also and very friendly staff, played 18 holes as a twosome in less than 4 hrs
Beautiful Day at Rivermoor
Course was in very nice shape and had a great price for this course,. After our round had some great food in the restaurant/bar. Will play again.
Decent course
Tee boxes hard as concrete - broke tees trying to set up ball. Most greens also very dry. Fairways in good shape, Road construction in Waterford made getting to the course a challenge - allow extra time to get there. Weather was perfect and pace of play was very good.
Rivermoor
The golf course has such beautiful trees. Enjoyed it very much
Playing with the guys
Great coarse and conditions. Even though they had an outing it did not slow our rate of play. Friendly staff. Will go back.
Nice local course
Rivermoor is a nice track for the local community. It is your typical small town golf course tight fairways with tall mature trees everywhere. Fairways and rough were average condition but the greens were great. Pretty smooth and much quicker than I expected. The people their were very friendly and were a wealth of knowledge when asked questions. The price was great the restaurant was nice too. Definitely a place to check out if your a local or in town and want a relaxing round of golf. Check out Rivermoor for sure.
Wet spring
Given the amount of rain this area has received this month the course was in fairly good shape but played very long. Little roll, almost no bounce..
Early golf in WI
Course was a bit rough. But it did snow 4 days prior.
Nice course
Enjoyed the round very much, the course is in very good condition for this early in the season the staff as friendly as ever
Thank you
Course was in fantastic shape!
For early spring golf the course was in fantastic shape.
Good value
The course was in good condition for being so early in the season. The greens are recovering from winter burn and were surprisingly quick. The grass is growing in and there were only a few areas that were a bit muddy. The bar made a good burger and the staff was very friendly.
