About
Originally opened in 1929 as the Waterford Woods Golf Course, the club reemerged in 2008 as the Rivermoor Golf Club. Along with its new name, the club also revealed improvements to the playability and condition of the 18-hole course. The design of the golf course was largely determined by the scenic topography, which is covered with mature trees and dotted with ponds. There are also a few streams that meander across the landscape. Rivermoor Golf Club is a proud member of the Audubon Sanctuary System. Beyond providing a secluded setting and great scenery, the terrain also makes for a challenging round. The trees frame most of the holes and water hazards come into play on a few holes. There are also strategically placed bunkers with which to contend.

The course was a bit rough, but it's mid April. I'm sure it will improve in the next few weeks.
Day of the eclipse
We played on the day of the eclipse and although the course was crowded it was in excellent shape and the people were wonderful. Will come again
More challenging when leaves on trees
First time on course, placement is important on some holes, greens heavily sloped so speed is important, pace of pay was bit slow as par 3 & 4 length is a bit shorter than most courses (6200 yds Blue). Staff friendly and so are the locals.
Fall weather conditions
Lost a few balls in leaves but overall we all still had a great time even with the wind blowing leaves across in front of you. We were still out golfing. That itself is what matters most.
Love the Rivermoor GC
We play Rivermoor about once a month in our area rotation and my wife and I love it. The staff is awesome, the bar is spacious and fun and the course is well maintained and tight enough to challenge most golfers.

Probably ended our Fall Season with a "Round at Rivermoor". It's always a fine time and can't wait until next Spring to return!
Great course conditions (fairways and greens).
Very well cared for course. It being November didn’t matter. The grounds crews have done a great job of making a golfers round as great of an experience as you might expect. Thanks to all at Rivermoor that make this a great place to play four hours of golf!! We always enjoy ourselves at this course!!!
