Oaks Golf Course at Christmas Mountain Village
About
The Oaks Golf Course at Christmas Mountain Village was carefully carved from the rolling hills of Wisconsin Dells. The Oaks is the 18-hole course and it is joined by the nine-hole Pines Course. The names of both courses are indicative of the mature woodland landscape you will find on each. The championship Oaks is a challenging but straightforward layout. You can play it well the first time you play it, so long as you are able to keep it in the short grass. Strategically placed sand traps come into play along many of the greens and there are water hazards on four holes. One of the most memorable holes is the 14th, an uphill par 4 that has three towering oak trees on the left side of the fairway that cause a blind shot to the green.

Early spring golfing in Wisconsin
Early spring play at the end of March in Wisconsin. Greens were better than other courses we played in the area this spring. Course is moderately challenging and some fun holes to play over and around water hazards. Staff very friendly and accommodating. We just played the front 9 of The Oaks because of the cool weather conditions.
AMAZING!!
OMG! Fastest greens I've ever played! Course was in beautiful condition for the beginning of March. Hole 10 has one of the best views ever!
Great course to play
I love playing here. Fall colors are great right now. Only issue is the amount of leaves on the course, hard to see the ball sometimes. Price is good.
Nice course.
Greens seemed fast. Not sure why. Enjoyed the day despite playing like crap.
The Oaks
The areas off the fairway was dry and hard. The greens were in very good condition compared to the fairways. I like the back nine layout and scenic landscape the best. Besides a beverage cart, the clubhouse is too far from the turn to grab a hotdog or beverage. I would play it again and we have been in a drought, so I understand the conditions are hard to maintain.
Course Needs Major Updates
I sympathize terribly for people that actually pay to be members here, what a waste of money. One of the most pathetic excuses for a golf course in Wisconsin. Terrible layout, overpriced big time, course isn’t well taken care of.
Management should be ashamed of itself for how unethically expensive it is for such a mid to low tier experience.
Trailer Park Trash Golf Course
Firstly, garbage EVERYWHERE. This course was nearly insulting for the value. Terrible tee boxes, sprinkler heads in the middle of greens, WORST PRACTICE FACILITIES IN WISCONSIN, watched maintenance mowing directly around a patio full of people eating lunch, no management ANYWHERE, no ranger, no leadership anywhere.
All four practice green holes were grouped within 5 yards of each other leaving a huge empty practice area.
The first few holes like a disgusting trailer park with a boisterous kids pool, the course allows groups of five and six on the course, yardage markers are not accurate, and the course amenities are falling apart.
It’s completely unethical and disgraceful how much this course charges for a round compared to equal pricing in the area. This course should cost 25$ to play, not the 72 via direct, or 35-50 on GolfNow. Go spend 10$ more for an incredible experience at the states top courses locally.
Beautiful course
Course was excellently maintained. Had a good round and really loved the scenery
Christmas Mountain Foursome
I hadn’t been at this course in several years but considering the scorching heat the conditions were good and the greens fast and true. Enjoyed our round and apres golf meal at Mulligans….
