The Ridges
Good course, well maintained. Greens are decently fast and a fair amount of hazards. They have a "Hole in one challenge" where you pay 2 extra dollars before the round and if you hit a hole in one at the designated par 3 (with video surveillance) you win the cash. The prize was at $1500 when I went and makes for a fun challenge.
Poor maintenance
Yard markers missing. Poor layout. Overall conditions were lousy when compared to comparable priced courses. Seen better county owned courses. Very disappointed
Beautiful day
It was a beautiful fall day and there wasn't any one on the course ...so pace of play was great!
Aeration day
We just happened to golf on the day they aerated the greens. It was the worst job I have ever seen. Rather than packing the sand into the holes, they blew the sand off (I saw it happening)... leaving empty holes and huge dimples on the greens. Putting was not going to happen.
Played on Wednesday and on coarse portable toilets were discussing and no water in coolers
Amazing back nine.
Front nine was beautiful and the back nine was gorgeous and quite the challenge, many sand traps and lots of water hazards. It was our first time and would definitely golf there again.
Great layout
This was my first time playing here, I loved it. The pace of play was slow at first because I ended up catching some of the league players, but the staff was accommodating and helped us work around them.
