Mallard Creek Golf Course and RV Resort

This was my first visit back to Mallard Creek, since they lost their original club house. The new club house is terrific.

The staff was friendly and welcoming - Mark recognized my father and our buddy, which they haven't played there in at least two years. Goes to show that he really does care and takes the time to know and acknowledge the customers here.

The course was in terrific condition, they had aeriated the greens sometime within the last few days, so that always presents a challenge when playing soon after - but we knew that prior to scheduling the round and not upset about it at all.

It was a chilly start, warmed around the 5th-6th hole and was beautiful for the rest of the round. They have maintained the property very well, from tee to green and everything in between - it was in fantastic condition.

Look forward to playing another round at Mallard when the opportunity presents itself.

This course is very well laid out but obviously in a wetland. Tight Fairways so if you cannot drive a ball straight every time like myself make sure you bring plenty of balls. Sometimes you can actually feel yourself sinking into the ground because the fairways are so wet. Had a few balls plug themselves into the Fairway they were very hard to find. Definitely on my list of courses to play again later in the season when things dry out a little bit. I was told there Club House burned down a few years ago so they are working out of a temporary trailer. Very helpful staff but lack of a place to sit down and eat lunch or dinner afterwards.
