Very nice course
Corse was in very good shape. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Challenging especially on Dogwood 9. A bit tighter than Oines. Will definitely play again
Pace of play non existent
First off I do love this course, I live by 2 that are less than 5 min away, but choose to drive over to timber creek (about 45 min) with that being said, pace of play has been awful my last 3 visits, then throw in golfers jumping to different holes or cutting in on you at the 10th makes it aggravating. Please, please, please get a Marshall, one that will actually move the slow players along. The course is in rough shape, but they all are, we had almost no rain this summer. Please work on the pace of play issue, I really want to come back!
Brought a friend
played with a friend i made at the rv resort. we both enjoyed the round. i will come back whenever i am in this area.
Great Layout
I played Magnolia and Pines. Really enjoyed the layout and overall course design, especially the elevation of Magnolia. Nice Pro shop and the Staff was great. Beverage cart was a nice touch. The clubhouse also has a full serve restaurant and bar. Had the Ceasar Salad with grilled shrimp that was as good as any restaurant in the area. Will definitely play there again.
Greens awful
We played Dogwood and Pines. The greens on Dogwood especially were in terrible shape! Large patches of sand with otherwise dead or no grass. They should not allow play until they fix those greens!
Terrible course conditions
I’ve played this course many times, it’s slowly been going down hill. Never have I seen it as poor as conditions as this last time.
I won’t be playing there again unless something seriously changes.
Sad
Sad! Worst course in Baldwin/Mobile county. Neglected and no money put back in to the course
need rain
the greens needed water, everywhere has been hot and dry. Still like the course and will play it again.
Good time!
Course was decent. A little work on some greens and this would be a 4.5 stars.
Poor Upkeep
The course is in dire need of repairs ranging from parking lot, bag drop, golf carts, pathways, greens, tee boxes, bathrooms, water stations. This course is merely a curbside appeal. The course is terribly overgrown, neglected, and poorly taken care of. Do not waste your time here.
Solid if you can find a value booking
If you can get this course under $40, jump on the opportunity. It's not "incredible," but it is solid right now. As long as rain is happening, the team keeps the greens in decent shape. They also just got new carts which is a plus. Olay this course if you're local and can get a decent deal every time.
Nice course that has been neglected for a long time
Greens and tees are ok, better than they were 6 months ago.
Fairways in decent shape.
Bunkers primarily hard pack clay.
All other areas of the course completely neglected.
Some challenging holes. Almost no one on course (not surprised).
Was probably a really nice course years ago but basically neglected now.
