Nice course
Play the Pines 9 first to get warmed up for the Magnolia 9.
Greens are gone
Fantastic layout and incredibly friendly staff, but they have some disease or something in their greens. Completely gone. 80% sand.
Course conditions
Greens were way below average . Grass to high around the course along with hazards everywhere with the broken up cart paths . It was playable . The service in the club house was second to none but the course itself needs some attention .
Totally unexceptable condition
Every green was unplayable. Most fairways were just weeds. The course was EXCEPTIONALLY un maintained. The only area that actually had grass was the driving range.
Awful Greens
For the price that they have raised the rates to the greens are awful!!! They should give discounts for the greens being so bad .
Getting worse
I like this course and i like to support out local community but...
Check in was ok and we started playing. No marshal and the speed of play was awful. Not the end of the world because i had two beginners so they could take their time and re-hit some shots.
Greens don't deserve the name. On most of them o grass is left and you have to put thru green bunkers.
Talking about bunkers, they are filled with mud and water.
No drink cart on a Saturday?!
This was the worst round i ever played, paying 65$ person.
Worst golf course in Baldwin County
Clearly no investment has been made - used to be nice
Greens need work but overall quick
The staff was friendly and helpful. Most tee boxes are good. Fairways good. Greens were quick but inconsistent with grass. Some areas was just dirt. But they roll the greens to keep everything flat. Some areas are a mixture of grass and dirt. Which tends to make the ball jump and affect the roll. Sand traps were also inconsistent with some sand to no sand just hard ground
Overall not bad but I Unser a hot deal which took off $15 dollars or so. Should be less for the conditions.
Played by myself and took alittle over 3 hours to play
Don’t waste your day.
The worst course conditions I have ever played in my 45+ years of golf. I can’t believe this course is open. Beautiful homes make you think it’s going to be great, but everything from the carts, tee boxes, cart paths, fairways, sand traps and greens are horrible. Close the course and invest a couple million to make it a playable course.
Upside is the staff is pleasant and clubhouse is nice and clean.
Terrible shape
Greens had mold on them. I know the time of year but that was terrible. Doesn’t look like they are doing anything to keep it up. Multiple areas that the cart path was roped off and broke. Just hard to believe they can charge $70 to play that course. It was worth $10
Greens need work
Greens are lacking any blades of grass and are compacted so much that their resulting speed is too much for the slope.
Wasn’t too crowded mid-day but play was slow- our slow foresome was waiting for a twosome. No rangering or starter.
Course appears to need investment to improve.
Disappointed
Played 18 holes yesterday, and was very disappointed in the quality of their tee boxes, Fairways, cart paths and putting greens. Tee boxes for the most part were dirt with minimum grass. Fairways were hard and greens were in rough shape. Majority of cart paths were not drivable on due to damage. Definitely not worth the money to play there.
This course 5-6 years ago was probably one of the best in the area, but has dramatically gone downhill over the years. Unless something changes and the course management improves I can’t see myself going back there to play for that kind of money.
Timbercreek
The course is lacking on maintenance. The greens look horrible but did putt fairly true. A lot of work needs to be done to bring it back to its old self. I used to LOVE Zthis course. Now I drive to Pensacola for nicer courses.
This was once a beautiful course. Current conditions are terrible. The greens had fungus all over. Someone please buy this and bring it up to par.
