Excellent value
Those the greens were being aerated, and several holes are somewhat under construction. This is overall a great course for the money. The pace of play was great and their clubhouse and bar restaurant is excellent with a nice covered porch. Greens were still very fast and a holes Are in good condition. It is longer than I recalled, but remains a very challenging course.
Over priced
70 bucks for this course is way to much. They forgot to mention before we paid the $70 that they just aerated the greens and it was cart path only.
Brutally Slow Pace of Play and Aerated Greens
Friday afternoon. Never again. Arrived to several tee boxes to see TWO foursomes waiting to tee off. This was for much of the round. They said there were two rangers working. Pace of play was brutal to the final hole.
Greens are as bad as they can be. Aerated and holes not filled.
Good overall.
Always fun to play but they need alert people know when greens are punched so customers can consider such prior to booking a tee time. Mover fun to find out after you arrive.
Aeration nightmare
Greens are normally good but they were not good at all after aerating and paying $70+ is hard when the round suffers for course conditions. The guy at the desk was a douche and they have several of those there unfortunately. The ranger on duty that was an rockstar though. Also $10 sip of sunshine’s from the cart girl is price gauging at its finest. Always loved this track and I’ll continue to play.
Great course
They just aerated the greens and a temp tee due to construction. All things considered they were upfront with the information and offered a discount. That doesn’t diminish the fact that the rest of the course was excellent. The value was great the layout is awesome. I can’t wait to play again.
Great Course
The course was great and in awesome condition. The pace of play was brutal, waiting on each tee box for 5-10 min, not sure if it was the course's fault but I would give it another try as everything else was excellent.
Great course, bad pin locations
Course was in great shape as always, only complaint was the placement of some pins. On the first par 3, I believe hole 3 the pin was in the middle of a hill making the putt near impossible. This was also the case later in the round on another hole. No cup should ever be on a hill.
Turtle
Played Turtle Creek on a nice Wednesday Afternoon, course was in very good condition. Greens were fast but true as I expected with little rain the past 2 weeks. Tees and fairways were excellent, the family is in the sod business so they know how to grow grass. Traps were very good .Hole #8 was shortened from a par 5 to 3 due to construction of homes bordering course. This is usually one of the best holes so it was disappointing. Pace was good at 4 hours and not crowded. Off course facilities are somewhat limited although there is a nice tented outside patio.
Course was in good condition
The grass was well kept and in good shape. I would play it again soon.
