This course sucks
This was the worst course I’ve ever played. I wouldn’t even let someone I hate play this course that’s how bad it is.
THIS COURSE SUCKS
Honestly this course deserves a negative 5 stars. I have never in my life played at a worse course. From the moment we pulled up to the terrible clubhouse to time we left it was an awful time. This course didn’t even have cartpaths!!!!! The greens might as well have been concrete and you couldn’t even recognize the fairway from rough. Will not ever play there again and will never let anyone I know play this awful, terrible, abismal, horrendous, ugly, and disappointing golf course.
Just a basic country course
Greens are ok. Everything else is below average. Fairways and tee boxes are just regular grass that has been mowed short. The layout is ok, but not anything special. The price is cheap for good reason.
Greens were in good shape ,some spotty patches but very puttable.. Fairways not the best, I've played but worth the $10 I payed if you are in the area. I wouldn't drive over 30 minutes to play it as there are better courses in the area with fees that are not much more.
good practice course, not crowded
lots of different holes. a few are long but most par 4's are short. NO fairway grass, but it is covered with grass. If you want to work on extra putts or chips, this is the course. Can play a quick and relaxing 18. From the Red tees, good for beginners or women golfers. All the par 3's are harder than they look because of slope of the green or a tree near the green(from the blue tees).
Sunny Day
Course was in average condition. Not much grass on the fairways and the Bermuda greens were very inconsistent.
Stoney in March
Laid back golf course. Fairways and tee boxes are just crab grass, but the greens are kept really nice. Really good value and love playing here.
First time playing this course
Found out about this course through GolfNow and scheduled a tee time for 2. Had no problems checking in and finding the place. It seemed like it was out in the country. The course was laid out pretty good I thought. Nice wide Fairways it was pretty hard to lose a ball. The greens were okay and took just a little bit to get used to. Had no problems getting out of the sand traps since there weren't any. Had a good time
Great greens
Course was average dry summer conditions.... greens were excellent, soft very receptive from 50 or 200 yards flew a 5 iron from 205 it rolled 3 feet from the ball mark. Fairways are pretty ruff but friendly with a few narrow ones along the back nine. Only a couple water holes which require short iron shots to carry the water a par 4 that I hit 5 iron then wedge to carry water 60 yards. Just for the price and shape of the greens I will be back..... And the eagle on 2 also made we want to go again even after finding several bogeys to finish with 80 scratch and 68 after my handicap.
Its an ok course when in good shape
Needs summertime weather.
Okay course for the money
Good course for the money. Not in the best shape but a fun course to play.
Great for some good iron work.
Loved this course, yeah it's a not the longest course but it does makes you have to hit good iron shots into the green. Greens were real fast, probably because we haven't had a lot of rain for a while. Great course for young kids and us adults that don't hit the ball that far anymore.
