The 18-hole Gulf Shores Golf Club (formerly known as Golf Club of The Wharf) in Gulf Shores, Alabama is a public golf course that opened in 1963. Designed by Earl Stone, the previously named Gulf Shores Golf Club went in 2005 through a renovation that lengthened the course by 300 yards. Paid $80. To play. Others in group paid $40 on golfnow.com. wanted to ride along in cart w/ husband because I have a back injury & cannot golf right now. That was an additional $25. Thus paid over $100. Really ridiculous. The course has a lovely setting but not golfer friendly..

Great course at the beach

1st time playing this course, in really good shape compared to other area courses. Greens were rock hard though so that made the greens really challenging.

Course needs alot of work

This is a once very nice golf course. It needs alot of work to get back to what it was 5 years ago. We did have a tough winter but the course is something you might pay 25-30 dollars to play.

Ok course for the money… Did over hear lady working in office complaining I parked in her parking spot… We were also rushed by the Marshall on the 9th hole.. but group behind us, were never waiting to tee off or to hit…
