Great layout
My wife and I prefer to play with others, and the starter did his best to find a pairing for us. However none was available. The starter put us out in front of a 4 some and we were able to play the first 12 holes quickly, and the last 6 holes at a normal pace. The course design was both moderate for high handicappers and some what challenging for low handicappers. the greens were ok but could be faster. The place was peaceful and pleasant. I would play it again.
Enjoyable Golf
Everyone was very friendly. The course was looking green, the layout is a nice challenge, and the greens were good and consistent. Great pace of golf. I would recommend for golfers of all levels.
Great Golf for a chilly day
Played 18 by myself and played better than I have in recent rounds. Love the course and the people. Will play here again and again.
Enjoyable experience
Course was scruffy in spots. Greens had a few weeds but were cut down and did not affect ball roll. Some of the bunkers had grass and/or weeds growing in them. Played day after an all day rain. Course drained well. Well worth the $52 rate I received through GolfNow. Would not pay their web site rate of $99.
Dead and dry
I’ve played before when we weren’t in a drought and it was pretty. Greens still rolled good but they evidently don’t have an adequate watering system because everything was dead. Some of the timber’s holding back water around greens are rotting. People were nice enough, layout is fun, fox squirrels were beautiful but I had spoke highly of the course and convinced friends to play and it wasn’t comparable to courses close to same cost.
Wished I’d played Craft Farms
Last time I played the course it was green and beautiful. Dry weather has hurt. Greens in good shape and rolled well. Still nice course but not worth $130 when you can get discounts for Peninsular and Craft Farms.
First time
First time playing. Was more than adequate for my skill level. The greens had a little bit of goose grass, but that was OK ball played well on it anyway.
Had a fivesome playing ahead of us so waited at every hole. on the back nine 6 guys were playing together behind us will not go back. marshall said he would try to push them instead of breaking them up. /
