This course was terrible. Stay away from it if you care anything about golf.
This course is horrible in every way. Staff allows 50 more people on the course then they should. We couldn’t tee off until 40 minutes after our tee time because they allow walk-ins whenever. It took us 2 hours to play 5 holes because we had to wait 20 minutes to tee off at every hole. We ended up just leaving cause not only was it over crowded but the pace of play was the worse than any other course that I have been to in my life. The greens were absolutely horrible. Only play this course if you want to waste 8 hours to play 9 holes. I’m not sure if there is new management or what because last year it was great. I will never be back.
Cross Creek
Course conditions were deplorable! No grass on tee boxes. Greens were terrible!
Nice layout, I bet mid season it is beautiful
We enjoyed our round for early in the season, it was great to be able to golf being from Michigan. The staff was exceptional. Would recommend if you get a chance to play.
Best priced golf course in Alabama
For the price you cant beat it. Play here all the time and always enjoy it. Friendly and helpful staff. Just love going out there.

Good golf
Had an excellent playing experience at this good course. Course is challenging enough for any skill level with undulating greens and fairways. Staff could not be more welcoming. Fine place to work on your game and enjoy golf.
Cross Creek
Called the Pro Shop before we drove from Birmingham. The Pro said the course was in good shape. The course has some good holes but it is in terrible condition!! No grass on tee boxes or fairways. The greens are horrible.
Good tract
Very good municipal course run by excellent people. Good driving hole challenges with interesting topography. Good enough for skilled players and beginners alike.
Fun course
Good course for the price and the carts had gps which was really nice. Will play again
Great course
Love the course. Golf shop staff are always friendly!
Cross Creek
Great Course , play it and you will know how it got its name
Cross Creek Challenge
Cross Creek , a course with fast greens and plenty of challenging dodlegs and elevation changes, for the fact of having no sand traps it has everything else to offer from long water drive to having a creek crossing on virtually every fareway
A place to have a great time go and see if you can match up to the challenge Cross Creek is waiting
Excellent value, pace of play only issue
I've played Cross Creek many times, and typically know what to expect. It's an amazing value for a course that is in good shape as a whole. No bunkers, relatively thick patches of grass as a defense. Greens are always smooth; slow uphill, fast down. Lots of doglegs to the left, so if you play a draw you'll be happier than if you hit a fade. Fairways in good shape. There's a couple of holes out there (4 and 15) that it's very difficult to get a tee shot to land in the fairway- both holes could probably be gutted and redone and everyone would probably be a bit happier. It was pretty close to a 5 hour round yesterday, which can occasionally be the case at Cross Creek but it's difficult to complain about a course for $30 or so.
