Sunset Landing Golf Course

This is a great course to get some early season rust off. Not too challenging and shouldn't lose many balls. They do allow groups of five which I'm not a fan of, especially early in the morning. Was stuck behind two of those groups. Made for a slower day.

The greens were good but the fairways lacked grass

Good short course with plenty of scoring opportunity. Greens are in excellent shape and tons of contours.

The only reason we played this course was the 4 star ratings. The fairways were in terrible shape. The only reason I gave the overall rating 2, was because he greens were the only saving grace of this course.

Condition was not very good, but probably as well as could be expected for winter time conditions.

My favorite course to play. Large greens and groomed fairways. Nothing better than playing golf and watching a 737 jet airliner land. A must play course!!!!!!

Nice wide open course, extra wide fairways, average greens. Don't know what the use in their traps but it is not sand, looks like red clay, very hard. My advice stay out of them! Overall a fun course to play if you don't mind having commercial and military jets take off and land less than a hundred yards away, personally I like it , but some may not.

I play this course at least once every 2 weeks.
- The course itself is pretty wide open with fairways that run next to each other.
- The fairways were in ok conditions but are usually very firm with the lack of rain we have had
- The greens were in above average condition. Soft and receptive. Just need to get people to fix their ball marks and it would be a lot better.
- Tee boxes need more water. When I have to "screw" my tee into the ground on a majority of the holes, there is a problem
- I am not sure what to call the bunkers. They are hard as rocks and filled with red dirt...not sand. It would help if they ground up the traps every once in a while to create at least an inch of depth. Most of the time, we play the traps as GUR..
- All in all, it is not a bad course..It is an excellent value if you can get the price in the "teens"

Good, but the Marshall is quite a pain in the you know what. Greens kept up well. Fairways could use some work.

Course was in great shape with a wide open layout very little trouble to get in except the airport runway if you hook the ball on a couple holes and the water on 18. So you should be able to finish with the same ball you started with.

Mostly open and generous fairways. Most greens are guarded by mounds and deep bunkers that make them a fun challenge, d'ont miss on the wrong side. Staff was friendly and accommodative. Lots of planes landing and taking off as the course is right beside the airport, but overall a fun course to play.

I enjoyed myself. Most everybody was very nice. I would golf there again

Overall nice course. Staff were not very freindly or personable. It felt like we were bothering or interrupting them to play.

It was raining when we (foursome) arrived but rain cleared up within 5 minutes. Course looked nice, greens little slow but probably due to rain. Couldn't beat the price for the course.
