Nice little course
I was hesitant in the beginning based on quite a few bad reviews However I decided to give it a try anyway When we arrived we were greeted by a very friendly staff including the owner who took the time to give us a little history of the course He took what was in abandoned golf course and turned it into a playable 9 hole course It is currently a work in progress the cart paths are in need of repair but other then that no complaints whatsoever. Please ignore the negative reviews and give the course a try you can't beat the price I will go back again and I live an hour away

Fun course
Not the best kept course nevertheless very fun. Don’t expect Bushwood CC but for $32 for 2 players with a cart, it can’t be beaten
I’ve been other years but this was the first time this year. Course is in much better shape this year. It’s a nice practice course and for the money and proximity to where I live, can’t beat it.
Meh
Tee boxes and fairways are over grown. You can hit a perfect tee shot and lose your ball on the fairway, very frustrating. The greens have been worked on and improved for most holes. Actually decent. Although some could still use a little work. It’s a good course for a beginner trying to gain some skills before going to more expensive courses. But at 25 $ you can go hit high point in montage for around the same price and that course is exponentially better. The golf now “hot deal” brings the price to 10$ which, at that price is great for a practice round. All in all. Ok.
Wow-in a bad way. Do they really think this is a golf course?
I’ve played hundreds of courses so it’s very hard to be the worst on the list. Cliff Park is the worst by far. The tee boxes, fairways (?) and greens all rank as the worst I’ve ever seen. I know they own mowers because I saw them. We’re probably not used for four or five days.
The cart paths have probably not been paved or repaired since WW II. Better suited for ATVs than golf carts.
I can’t believe all the good ratings for this course. Don’t believe them; they must be from family.
Forgive my rant but don’t say you weren’t warned.. Don’t waste your time and money.
Long course for senior
I enjoyed this course for its classic old school feel. Found it very difficult for my age (66) 475 yard par 4 and par 5's over 500 yards are impossible for me to reach in regulation But new this in advance and didn't take scoring serious. The postage stamp greens also added to the difficulty.
I would still recommend playing it if you want to play an inexpensive course with a mountain feel.
Ok golf course for the price
The Course was slightly slow because of overbooking had a tee time at 300 pm but did not get a cart until 330 pm, but the staff was very polite in letting us know of the backup and time and was nice enough to give my wife a free beer for waiting, The holes are right next to each other so be ware of flying balls, and the greens were slightly covered in debris and the grass was fairly high on the fairways, great course overall for the price I would play again.
Nice course
Cliff Park is a fairly moderate to challenging course. It would have been better if the weather cooperated and the grounds were not so wet. My group (foursome) will play there again and hope for dry weather. Try it you will like it.
I don't let nine holes fool you !
First thing, The staff and people I have met on the course , are friendly and a pleasure to talk to .This is a great 9 hole course. It is challenging ! This course will encourage you to be accurate with your hits . (Or you will loose your ball ) If you have never played here. It's worth it ! You will not be disappointed .
Greens are in great condition!
Great price for excellent greens. The fairways still need some work but an overall great day.
A thumbs up
Have played here several times this year. See improvements every time I play. Great staff. Great value for the money. Nice setting. True greens. Would recommend to all if you're looking for a fun and relaxing round
Gave it a try...
Golf course in rebuild. Not there yet. Greens are superb and an obvious priority. Fairways little more than extremely hard, bumpy cow pastures. Sad waste of time and money. Eminently missable
Appreciate it for what it is...
You must appreciate the course for what it is. It's a small 9 hole course on what looks to be an old resort in the Pocono mountains. The proshop is a shed filled with love and appreciation. They were some of the nicest people I've ever dealt with on a golf course. The course itself is a wonderful practice course. There are no bunkers, no water, but there are differ types of grass and different lies you will encounter and give you a challenge. The greens although very small and a slower/thicker cut are in wonderful condition. The rest of the course is on a noticeable uphill battle back from the depths. I am used to playing on long style private courses with big fast greens. The weather was cold, and all I wanted to do was play, this was great. I am now following this course on f-book, check them out for their back story, and even though an hour away, will be making the trip back to see the progress of the course. Thanks for such a pleasurable experience.
The course is a great bang for your buck!
Even during a drought the course was in great shape. Everytime I golf here the course gets nicer! Friendly staff.
cool coarse
It's a neat little course , has some nice driveing shots to play.
Best Bargain in Poconos
Beautiful scenic, classic layout - you don't mind playing this 9 hole course twice to get in your 18. Greens were in excellent condition on every hole - not a brown blade or dead spot to be found. Staff was courteous and friendly, course was not crowded and although closed, the views of the inn on the front few holes let your mind wander to what once was probably a nice mountain retreat.
Great potential
I have been playing on this course for the last couple of months. It was recently reopened and the new owners are making a real go of it. The course has improved signicantly since earlier this summer and it has a lot of potential. For $20 to play 9 with a cart or $25 to play 9 twice with a cart, you can't beat the value. Soem of the holes are challenging, especially the long par 5s. Could use some more sand traps (none) and water hazards (one) though to really improve the challenge.
