First time playing the course. The weather was chilly ,but sunny.<br/> Found out that the greens are small and crowned. With it being winter and the grass being dead ,it was hard to keep the ball on the green. Can't wait until summer to come and try this course again.

The Lakewinds Golf Course is right next to Hwy 280. So you can hear the noise of the traffic, what can disturb your game on many holes. It is a nice layout around a lake, but very hilly with extremly small and fast greens. Accurate shots are a must or your ball runs all the way back down where it came from.

It is worth the drive if you are not from Alexander City like me.
