Colonial Golf Course

Aside from many bare spots (mostly off the fairways) around the course, the course is in really good condition. The fairways have filled in and you can now play the ball down vs looking for patches of grass to hit off. If more knuckleheads would repair ball marks, there would be no complaints about the greens- they're moderate speed and will hold a well struck shot.

Barry and staff are the best! If I owned a golf course, I'd ask Barry to manage it for me.

Seen this course for $14 and said this has to be a mistake. Was not and the pace of play is sweet and people have etiquette. Staff is remarkable and I played the best front 9s of my 5 years of golf. Greens played with real good speed until they sprayed them during the back nine. LOL

You won't find a better place for the money and they have new carts. Folks could be nicer and fix their ball marks but other than that I can't find anything wrong at all with this place. I just moved here recently and played quite a few tracks but this place is awesome and great price. Barry and crew are the nicest and he knows his stuff too.

Golf course is in great condition!! Just wear pants tho, the chiggers will naw your legs clean off if not.

You can't go wrong making a tee time here at any time of day. The staff is down to earth and flat foot out to make sure you thoroughly enjoy your round. The course is challenging and very forgiving at the same time. I will definitely be playing here at least 3 times a week. Love this place!!

I’ve been playing at Colonial for almost 30 years and it has always been a good course and nice environment for a round of golf. The staff is consistently friendly and the fairways are great. Some greens can use some work.

The course was in really good shape for this time of the year. Greens and tee boxes were excellent. The fairways are a little narrow, had several holes with golfers in our fairway. Some of the guys need a lesson in etiquette, hit into us several times and we were not holding them up, we had to wait too.

Challenging but not abusive. A fun course to play with very friendly staff. I would play again.

I booked this as a hotdeal, and the front desk manager was extremely nice when I arrived. He was expecting me when I walked in the door and directed me in the right direction. The course plays very forgiving and everything is mostly straight ahead. Fairway and green conditions were decent for this time of year. I was paired up with some locals who play the course every week and they mentioned the greens are normally in excellent shape. I will definitely be playing here again. It seemed like everyone else out on the course was a regular.

They really went out of their way to make my visit enjoyable.

The greens were punched and full of sand. No advisory on GolfNow and no call from the course about the condition of the greens. In the past, golfnow would have an alert to let you know the course has some questionable conditions. And on top of that advisory, the course would call to make sure I know the course is not in good shape. Very disappointed in the golf course.

I always enjoy playing at Colonial. Course is in good shape, greens are great. Barry is always friendly and goes above and beyond to maked sure you haved a great experience. Prices in the clubhouse from caps to clubs are very affordable.
