The stunning fourth. Tricky, strategic and exhilarating. Yet fatal on the left side. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 04/23/2021

Eight. Bold 3-par of 204. You’ll need a fine tee shot to keep the wolf at the door. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 04/23/2021

Eleven. Solid tee-to-green test. Hitting and putting this green are the keys. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 04/23/2021

Thirteen: Wedging into a green pared down to essentials: a frontal bunker, a narrowing surface, then a big backside falloff. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 04/23/2021

Sixteen. Dr. Hurdzan’s greens resemble those of Donald Ross: crafted, meticulous, well-contoured. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 04/23/2021

Eighteen. #2 index. Problems galore. As at all par-5’s here, playing the angles well may save you from disaster. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 04/23/2021

$10 and hour ain’t bad
Course was immaculate and greens were rolling 10-12 even after morning drizzle. Staff was warm and welcoming. Value under $60. Too bad it took over 5 hours to play… will play earlier next time.
Great track
Took my friends here for the first time. They loved the course, the layout, and the overall experience. Would have given it a 5.0, but the tee boxes weren’t full of grass, and the greens we kept long, making for slow greens. I’m used to playing on fast greens, so maybe I’m being picky. However, that aside, it’s really a course anyone should want to play.
Great coarse but pace of play was lacking
The course was in great condition. Rough was little thick and good luck finding your ball in the fescue but that was a great challenge. My only complaint was pace of play two groups in front. I ended up playing with another threesome but the foursome 2 grouos ahead of us was dreadfully slow and I did not see anyone speeding them up. On par 3's we would have 2 foursomes waiting on the tee box waiting for them to clear the green.
Great track
Tee boxes a bit torn up and could use a cart girl.
Greens were aerated last week so they were slow & bumpy as can be expected. Pace of play on the front side was very good. However, the back nine was excruciatingly slow. One group had several other groups backed up.
Average To Ok But Not Good To Great
Second time playing Pilgrim Oaks and everything is still the same. Course is a good track but the lack of staff engagement to constantly get better makes it just ok. Maybe the staff is only exhibiting the culturally norms for the small town and area however, they need to show some appreciation for folks who go well out of their normal commuting area to golf in the Pennsylvania cornfields. Pro shop is limited with regalia and food and drinks…there’s water on the course for .50 cents per bottle so essentially 2 for a dollar unless you’re carrying change. Extremely challenged service and product delivery excellence, but an average to ok place to stop off if you have time to spare and checkout the course for golfing only, so come prepared.
Awesome
Never disappoints… one of my favorites… was in great shape fairways and greens were perfect… tee boxes were the only thing I could say weren’t perfect…but the best value you will find!
Best bang for your buck!
This is the best value for a round of golf that you will find anywhere near the Philadelphia area. The course conditions were fantastic, in fact better than most private clubs I play. The layout was great and the elevation changes, really make for a fun round of golf. Everything was in fantastic shape and I’m kicking myself for not playing here sooner. It’s honestly unbelievable for how little they charge for how good this course is.
Challenging course
Overall good course. Lots of Rollinghills, moguls, some ponds, bushes, sand bunkers
on the course. Course was in great condition, would play here again.
Pilgrims Oak Hilly & Fun
Been playing Pilgrims for a # of years. A fun and challenging course with many hills and longer holes I love.
Pilgrim's Oak is a gem
I have been playing this course every month or so for the past couple of years. The course is challenging, always seems to be in great shape. Yesterday the greens were a tad sow for me. But it's July and they are not rolling them as much. Certainly worth the money, and worth a drive of you want a change of pace
Very good conditions and pace of play
Course in great shape and played in 3 hours and 40 minutes - what couLd be better!
