Meh
Course was impossible to navigate - very strange layout. Holes very close together. Greens need to be trimmed. Par 3’s are very short (that is personal preference of course). Nearby apartments are right against some of the holes, so if you are a righty who tends to slice your tee shots, make sure you have a getaway plan for when you break somebody’s window.
I heard they drained the lake because it might have had the virus in it. I wonder if the fish have the virus? It makes no sense! Fish can't even breathe.
Terrible greens
The greens had huge holes and craters and sand. the grass was barely there. horrible conditions please don’t spend over $20 here
Terrible greens and a bad attitude
Greens were not even distinguishable from fairway staff was not friendly and borderline rude. Just trying to have fun but they made it tough for us.
Great course
Love the layout. Hole 11 is the most challenging tee shot for an amateur from the blue tees. Tight course that was in great shape. Old course desigb, tight with some bail out areas if you're able to scramble you can score low.
Great day at the Links
Course is great shape. Pace of play was great also. Every time I’m in T-Town, I love playing here. Better value for the buck than Ol Colony and less crowded.
Great Course
It’s really a great little Course. You will probably finish quicker than you think because of how small the course is. The only problem is you have some people who don’t understand golf edict because they will drive the cart and hit balls out of your fairway will your trying to hit your ball but I can’t blame the course for that but it is something I’ve noticed over my time playing this course.
You get what you pay for
It’s not a bad track, so many people think they own the course. We had people hang back cut in front after finishing a hole. It’s the busiest course in town, by busy you have to worry about people cutting back over in front of you, groups of 5 and 6 that won’t let you play through, groundskeepers that will blow right past a green while you are putting. You get what you pay for. Staff is nice, not a bad track, greens are decent. Just don’t bother the “locals” who think they own the course.
The course is in excellent condition. You can't beat the price to play here. Highly recommend.
Interesting layoit
We o played midday Monday and the course was not busy. Course is in good condition overall. However, doesn't appear to be watered adequately even with all the rain we have had. Greens were very fast.
Pace of play
Played as a Twosome, had 3-4 Foursomes in front of us. They spent more time in the woods and looking for floating golf balls than playing. Recommendation to staff would be to inform large groups to let smaller groups play through. We spent 2 hours of our round literally watching them zig zag back and forth to different wood lines.
Great course for cheap. The layout is a little odd, but it is in great condition. Highly recommend.
The course is in excellent condition. Highly recommend.
Great course in Tuscaloosa
Finding a good course in Tuscaloosa is not easy. The links is tied for first place with old colony for best public golf courses in Tuscaloosa. The greens are in great condition and make you work for getting the ball in the hole in 2 puts. The many par fours are super fun where if you hit rhe ball well off the tee box you can hit the green with your second shot. I highly recommend this course.
A great day in Tuscaloosa
Course conditions were excellent...greens rolled nicely. Would play here again. Pro shop staff friendly and informative. A very tight course on more than half the holes.
