Pro Shop Staff
I have been playing for 40 years at this course and I have never experience such un-professional staff service in the pro shop. I arrived at the golf course at 11:40 and went inside to check in for a 12:20 tee time. I was told I had to wait till 11:50 before I could check in. There was no other customers at that time and they made me stand there for 10 minutes, until 11:50, before I could check in. They told me that this was because of Golf Now. I book a lot of tee times through golf now and never been treated like this at any other courses.
Getting better
Spring grass is making appearances green are in decent shape course sees a lot of rounds good job by employees to keep the flow of play
Winter golf
Course was as good as expected with the crazy weather.
Afternoon 9 holes
Course coming out of winter should get better and better with the spring
Nice Afternoon
CPO due to rain night before. Course is OK, no driving range but does have nets to hit into. Some holes suffering from erosion. Balls can disappear. Overall enjoyed the day.
Not as good as it has been in past
This is my 6th time playing Webb Memorial. This by far was the worst experience I have had on this particular course. The greens are patchy and not well taken care of. You might as well not putt on this course right now. The tee boxes are lucky to have any grass on them. The cart broke down after 6 holes. Also, for players who have never played here. There is no range.
Fun though Rough
Enjoyed the play. Course was OK, rained night before so CPO made it a bit less desireable. Some holes suffering erosion that can capture wayward shots. Overall had a good time...we really don't play at a high level.
Good day for a round
Rain came through, wet conditions, cart path only slowed us a bit. Great people. Good golf at a good price.
Disappointed Duo
There seems to be an over booking of golfers which slows down the pace of play. Zero marshall enforcement and oversight of pace of play and golf etiquette. Greens are in poor shape. City Park has new carts, they are a BREC facility too, why not WEBB?
So sad
One would think that because there are only 4 public courses in and around the Baton Rouge area that some emphasis would be placed on their condition.
The greens, tee boxes and fairways are simply embarrassing.
C’mon man!
So sad
There aren’t but a few courses to play in Baton Rouge so on would think that the powers that be would invest a bit of money to ensure that they are at least decent.
Just terrible!
