A little rough
Greens are in worse condition than usual. The rest of the course is in normal Webb shape.
Good course
Honestly, course is in great condition! Pace was slow, but still enjoyed the round
This course is normally good
Greens have taken a beating; probably from the heat
Bad Greens
I have played Webb plenty over the years earlier in the year the greens were really decent unfortunately they are horrendous right now obviously Brec has decided not to spend any money there no excuse in my opinion and embarrassing for Baton Rouge.
Big Change
The course is as expected- great for 1st timers. Greens are very worn and patchy due to a fungus growth they seem to be experiencing. Biggest thing is the “NO ALCOHOL” allowed on the course…so if you enjoy a cold brew after a birdie go elsewhere…
Good BREC Course
Webb has always been a fun course to play. I have not played it since last summer. The greens were in rough shape, but the rest of the course was good.
boys back in town
This would be a very nice public course if the greens were in shape. A serious downside. And get some new carts please like Old Historic City Park in BR.
Course conditions
course is in decent shape, they are constantly upgrading, the cart paths are very rough and have potholes in them, especially number 12. Has been brought to their attention and they do nothing. This is one of the oldest courses in baton Rouge and is funded through your taxes by the residents of baton Rouge. To my knowledge brec has to answer to the mayor's office. For some reason we can't get that cart path fixed, that's my only complaint. Just go around it, which tears up the golf course when carts are on path. Great place to play, friendly staff and great workers.
Pacing
Pretty decent value, pacing is terrible when allowing groups of 5 or walking 4somes.
Webb
Love the course but greens were in pretty bad shape.
Webb Baton Rouge
Greens, Fairways, and tee boxes in bad condition. The only good thing was that we were never held up by the group in front of us. Would not play again.
Disappointing
Not sure what happened to this course. I understand it’s winter but this course has gone down the toilet. The greens were atrocious. Better off putting on the moon. Tee boxes were mashed and destroyed, no grass. Zero maintenance or upkeep at this course. I won’t be coming back until something drastic changes.
Not worth the effort
Course conditions we very poor. Greens were full of divots that made putting less that desirable.
Golfers - repair your ball marks on the green.
The new generation of city golfers are not repairing their ball marks.
