Well above expectations
Played Skippack 7 years ago. Only remember “ not hating it”. Got a great early morning deal a couple weeks after COVID restrictions were lifted. WOW!! 95% of the course is in GREAT shape. This course is in the best shape I have seen ANYWHERE in this area, ( I live an hour away) in 3-5 years no lie!!
Course is less then 6000 from tips but does play longer. A bit more open on the front 9, more tree lined and tighter on the back. 2 down hill par 3s over 200 yards (7 and 15). Water does come thru the course. Tees, fairways and greens all well above average, and we finished at 4hrs. It had rained the day before, but the course was remarkably dry, and NOT cart path only. Greens are fast.
Again, sooo glad to have played Skippack right now. Having played a couple other places after golf opened back up, and seen what looks like they did nothing, this track had it all going on today!!!
SGC
Overall great round, due to COVID there were some things lacking. We walked the course and brought pull carts. According to the fellow at check in, the owners were not supplying scorecards and cited governors rules, however they did handle cash. No scorecards and tee box signs had no graphic I was concerned about hole locations, however the course layout is pretty easy to follow. Booked on Golf Now and the course is an outstanding value,
Great value., course was in good shape
I played a couple days after Christmas. There were two holes cut on each green, which is a good way to keep the area around the hole from wearing out. Kudos to the greenskeeper.
Problem is, the group in front of us, and many other groups, were not placing the pin in the other hole after they played out.
Maybe they don’t know about this, but that’s what golfers should do when the staff has provided two holes.
Hey it was Thursday in November
Very challenging course and well kept this summer. Now we're the beneficiaries of the fall overseed and lighter traffic. Fairways were in great shape Greens are well maintained
Decent round
For a cold November day. Course was in good shape, greens were quick and a very good value.
Rained Out
We got to Skippack in the pouring rain and decided to cancel, the pro shop could not have been nicer in handling the cancellation. Great group of folks at this course. We will be back soon to grab a late season round
Skippack
First time golfing. Challenging course. Staff on top of everything, course was in awesome condition. Starter wanted everyone at tee 10 minutes in advance-roll call-like was awesome. Aerated greens yes but they notified via Golfnow. 35 bucks, and this is a place I’ll be revisiting often. Had rain the night before and could still hit any shot, walk without sogginess. Keep doing what you’re doing. Skippack GC is a new favorite. Other local courses can’t measure up
Skippack GC
First time playing Skippack. Have played all the local courses and this one stands out. Had an early tee time and the starter asked to be ready at the tee area within 10 minutes of the tee time. Nice little bar/food area and restaurant. Course conditions were best I’ve seen of courses in the area. Greens were Aerated but they notified on GolfNow. Also, the day after rain, fairways were not soggy, fully hittable. It’s a gem. Everybody was on top of their jobs. I will be playing here much more next season, as this season is soon coming to an end. For the golfer, a challenging course and tight fairways. Great job guys!
Skippack Golf
Have played Skippack for many, many years and have watched course go through many management changes. This group has been the hands down best.
