Rain Keeps Players Away
Played the course on early Saturday afternoon. I guess the threat of rain kept the players away. Only a handful of players came out in the early afternoon hours. It sprinkled a little bit while we played but we were able to breeze through the course in just over an hour. The pace of play was great, considering it was a weekend. The course was very playable with decent speed on the greens. We were gone by the time it started to pour. Would definitely recommend this course if you don't have much time but want to get in a quick round of golf.
Quick and easy
All good apart from paying for golf balls although it states free clubs you still have to fork out $25 for balls to play
Replace the mats!
The tee box is restricted to only hitting off the mats.
But the mats are in terrible condition. It’s time to replace the mats.
Why 10 holes?
I played this course a 100+ times before Topgolf took over and it was a fun little 9-hole. After Topgolf it’s a 10 hole, why? The course layout could be better. A lot of wasted land that could’ve been used to make a couple holes longer and hole #9 needs to gotten rid of asap. The day I played #9 pin was a 30’ from the tee!
This course is not worth the money I paid.
Good short game practice
If you need the work on your 70-90 yd shots, this is a good practice course. Greens are in pretty good condition.
GC and amenities beware
I’ve been going to the Lakes before and after the remodel. The new layout is fun and looked great when it first opened. Starting to see some wear and tear now. The plastic mats are thrashed and need replacing and the tee boxes are constantly under repair. Other than that, I’d recommend the course. However if you want food, go elsewhere. I waited an hour for a sandwich and this was midweek at 11:30 am. I was comp’d the sandwich after an hour but the service is terrible. Their employees need serious training in customer service.
Perfect for short game work.
John Daley says golf is all about 150 and in. This is the place to work that. For $30ish, you get 10 holes on grass, a good chip/putt practice area, a bucket of balls to hit next door at Top Golf, and a free cup of coffee. Staff I friendly and accommodating.
This course is a really nice course to play.
This course was a great place to play and it was a really fun course to play golf. I would recommend this course to anyone.
