Warminster's Five Ponds Golf Club

Worst greens I have ever played on.. every green but one suffered major damage from the winter.. fairways were also horrible. Layout is good but stay away until they are able to repair the course.

The distances makers are way off and deceiving. Greens are in terrible condition when I played.

Course is a nice track although there are holes that go back and forth that make it a bit of a shooting gallery Overall conditions were mediocre as the course is recovering from a harsh winter with a lot of winter kill on fairways and greens. This is more a cosmetic than playability issue. The greens look horrible but they putt ok. Some of the greens were a little bumpy. One of the best fetaures of this course is the greens so hopefully they will come around. The eighth green was in very good shape and is indicatve of what the course is usually like. Pace of play on a Tuesday afternoon was 4 1/2 which was a bit slow for our group of accomplished golfers who play fast. We waited on every shot and never saw a ranger. Course has a good range and practice facility. One of the better practice putting greens around.

Course was in good condition. Staff was great. Fun, relaxing time.

I have played 5 ponds many times.
I had a steady tee time there for years.

Sure Winter was still a few days away but you wouldn't know it judging from the course conditions at five ponds. Pretty much all of the tee boxes were moved forward so play was a little more forgiving but the fairways were well manicured and the greens were soft and predictable. Overall a great day of golf when you wouldn't really expect it.

Course is not but the Tees were moved up too much for winter. All Tees were playing at the Ladies Tees.

Course in very good shapestaff was very friendly. Other golfers were friendly and courtious

It's always nice to play this course .
for how much play it gets, the conditions are always very good. One of the nicer public courses in Bucks County.

The greens were a very large target but elevation changes made club selection important to position yourself for easier putting.
Tree lined fairways could punish you.
Quite an enjoyable round on a well maintained course.

The course was in great condition and we had perfect weather for an amazing day.

Five Ponds is a nice track with a good setup and challenging holes. But the pace has always been a problem. I haven't been back for years as a result. But I was playing with some friends that were new to the area, so I thought a mid-day time might be better. Nope.

There are a few bottlenecks (3-4, 12, 17) that really keep pace down. There was a ranger but seemed to do little to keep play moving. I actually saw a group using a tape measure to get the putt distance.

I had to skip 17 & 18 to get to a prior engagement but the round took my playing partners nearly five hours. For the relatively high price, and time value cost, I won't be back for a while. If you like waiting at every hole and playing a round in 5 hours, then this is the course for you.

I learned how to play golf on this course. If you are a first time player the layout will give you a challenge with blind tee shots and elevated tee shots. Once you get a feel for it, grip it and rip it! The course is in great condition for a public and well used course. 15 and 16 are two of the hardest but also my favorite

The course is challenging and is always in great condition. However every time I played here was plagued with waiting. The course does not manage its tee times well, and anyone I have ever taken here or recommended to go in the past has had the same issue. This probably will not get better since the course has been selling groupons by the 1,000 with expirations in the near future. I understand courses are hurting, but this course does not balance tee times well, and likely wont any time soon with the offers it has sold.

Really like this course. Staff very friendly. Pace of play just right.

we had a foursome and had a fun time playing this course, I would recommend playing here.

This is a $65 course in my opinion. Tough layout. The place was super crowded and slow. There was no ranger out there to keep things in line. One par 3 had 3 groups waiting to play. It was a good deal at $45 but the staff neesd to up their game to meet course's level. Played the afternoon on a Sunday and the snack bar was closed?

All aspects of this course (fairways, rough and greens) were in great shape. Pace of play was perfect, only had to wait on 2 holes and no longer than a couple minutes. Highly recommend this course.

Enjoyed playing the course except for the slow play.
The course was in very good condition especially the greens. Would definitely recommend!
