Warminster's Five Ponds Golf Club
About
Warminster's Five Ponds Golf Club, true to its name, weaves through a series of five ponds that are deftly incorporated into the design. Naturally, water is a prominent feature on the course but there is also a rolling topography that provides interesting elevation changes. The layout starts with a more open front nine and becomes tighter and more wooded on the back nine. Many of the holes have elevated tees that offer scenic views of the surrounding countryside. It provides a challenging but fair round that features wide fairways and large, receptive greens that make it approachable for beginners. In addition to the golf course, Five Ponds boasts an all grass driving range and a 7,000 square foot putting green. Its condition, amenities, and of course the scenic layout have made the club one of the most popular public courses in the area.

great day of golf
Five Ponds gave us a great experience on a great weather day. The course is in excellent shape. We played in about 3:45mins, which is good on a weekend anywhere. Fairways were in very good shape, the greens were perfect & rolled nicely.
Great find
Course is in great shape and the staff was very friendly. I will definitely be back.
Very Nice
First time playing here and would play again. Got a Hot Rate and decided to jump on it. The standard rate of ~$50 is too much. Fairway bunkers and doglegs make it a strategic course to play. Greens in nice shape too..
Good Course
I've played multiple times and course is always in good shape. Greens are tricky to read when they're rolling fast, but they are challenging and fair.
Course offers multiple challenges, especially on the back 9.
Outstanding Public Course
Love to play. Course layout is great and very well kept. Pace of play was good (weekday). Really enjoy playing at Five Ponds. Would recommend to anyone. Course would be tough for a novice or beginner.
this course was in great shape for mid june
Kind of over priced for the area, but honestly, the course was in terrific shape, pace of play was perfect, we were a group of 4 (11,13,16,17 handicaps) and we were never backed up or held up anyone ourselves. I definitely recommend this course to golfers of all levels. If you are better than an average 93 score, play for the blues, if you tend to score around 95-100, the whites will be more player friendly. Staff was nice and accommodating. Again, I highly recommend the course.
GreatRound!
Fantastic course in excellent shape! greens and fairways played extremely well, course is set up to provide a challenege on almost everyhole! would recoomed to all and looking forward tp playing again!
Great course
I went with my buddy for a 2pm tee time. We had a great time from start to finish! The starter was one of the friendliest guys out there. (I believe his name was chuck) he was very informative with how the course would play that particular day! The is pretty good for a quick burger or sweet sausage. The course is harder then most in this are in my opinion but it deffinitly keeps it interesting (sometimes frustrated)
5 Ponds Maturing Into a Nice Course
I had not played at 5 Ponds for a couple of years, and was happy to find it is in much better condition and has "grown up". The greens were excellent, firm and quite flat. The fairway grass a little long and the rough was fine. Some very well designed holes and as is often the case a couple of very peculiar ones like 8. Overall, a very nice experience especially for a "municipal" type course.
Challenging and narrow
Holdiday kept pace very slow. However great course and well kept conditions.
Excelent municipal course
Always one of the best run and best maintained municipal courses in the area. Good pace of play. As with all municipal courses, they could use some more sand in the bunkers.
Good course, great conditions.
Course is in great shape and they're still improving things daily. Only issue is that it's still a little pricey, but it's a solid course overall.
Excellent Course
Five Ponds has quality greens, large & fast, a little inconsistent today because of the showers. The low areas were really beat up with all the rain lately.
The front side sets you up for the challenge, and the back side kicks your butt with the couple of tight par 5's. 17 is a deceiving hole at only 155 yards to a water protected green, the slight breeze will put you right in the water.
Overall a nice challenging course. I look forward to going back.
Worthwhile but expensive for muni course
The pace of play was great although a bit of a slow down between 10-11 from people taking a longer time at the turn. It moved quickly after that. Sunday afternoon round in 4:30 is pretty good. The greens were in good condition but there were more than a few grounds under repair with swampy water and some sodded areas that were fairly patchy. Otherwise fun, quick round. Little pricey compared to other similar courses.
Go golfing here
The course was wet from rain the day before . So conditions were not great. Not the clubs fault. Greens were in excellent shape. I would highly recommend this golf course
great course
Great course. Been 15 years since I last played it. Excellent condition. Course was packed as it was first gorgeous weekend in april so can't fault them for the pace.
Decent course, a little more expensive than other local courses
A nice course with some challenging holes along the way. Course is kept nice and clean. The staff does seem to overbook tee times as I played on a cold windy day with temperatures in the 40's and there was still a wait time on a few holes. They tend to just tell you tee times are available and when you show up they say go ahead and get started no matter how many people have scheduled tee times. Overbooking seems to be an issue at this club. Other than that, it was pretty standard.
Course was in great shape! No leaves which made ball spotting easier.
The course was in great shape. The t-boxes were back and made the round challenging.
Much nicer than expected
Very nice course definitely worth playing it was interesting and a lot of fun.
