Worse semi private course I have ever played
After playing the first hole, which was basically a muddy pasture, I asked the manager John to refund my round. He refused. I asked if he would at least refund the $22 cart fee and I would pay the 18 hole walking fee. He refused. I asked if I could apply my golf/cart fee to merchandise in the golf shop. He refused. Regardless of the condition of the course, which was terrible, his lack of customer focused service spoke volumes. I am afraid the course is in financial trouble and they need every penny. This course/owner does not deserve our money. There are much better options in the Jackson area I am told.
Turning It Around
Course has been under new ownership over the past year. They have made an effort to make things better. New clubhouse and putting green is nice. Course is average to below average right now. Hopefully they will continue to make it better. Fairways are rough, tee boxes are not in great shape.

Greens nice. Fairways horrible. Senior and ladies tee boxes sucked. Expensive for the value. Ladies had porta Johns.
Great Value
The course is a great value especially when you take advantage of the afternoon deal which is $25 all you can play after a certain time (1pm on Saturday 2pm other days). Pace of play is always pretty good as I play often by myself and am able to get in a quick 18. Course conditions are ok but great for the value. Greens have been in great condition, some of the best I have played in the area but the fairways always struggle. Grass is thin and bare in areas so you always seem to have a suspect lie even when in the fairway. The layout is fairly simple but provides some opportunities to take some risk reward shots with dog legs. Some of the downhill holes really allow you to stretch out your driver and make you feel like a pro when it goes 300 yards. Great play for the value, I would definitely recommend the afternoon rates. It is probably not worth it for the regular rates but hey members need their time.
