The greens were excellent and the course is also excellent no goofy holes and no blind shots.
I would certainly recommend this course to anyone. I think you will enjoy your round.
Beautiful course and layout
Had a wonderful round , if only there would have been less rain.
Standing water every where
Was first time playing this course. Reserved tee time through the GolfNow website and was excited to play.
Upon arrival, noticed signs for “cart paths only” which was disappointing, but in hindsight, the lack of cars in the parking lot should have been the biggest warning sign. The cart attendant and pro shop employee were nice enough guys and both mentioned the recent rains they had experienced and that the course was soggy. Never did they mention that the course was basically submerged, including the tee boxes.
After nine holes, we asked for a refund of one of the green fees as it was very trying even walking on the tee boxes and standing in water. I was denied a refund and they offered a rain check. I am all about supported local courses and helping in any way I can, but truly feel I was not offered full disclosure as to the course conditions. Had we known how bad it was, we would have politely declined and maybe returned on another date. I hope in the future they will offer a more realistic description of the course so others can make an educated decision.
Great greens, staff anti-Golf Now
Staff treats Golf Now customers like second class citizens. No 1 tee wide open...appeared a bit early , asked to head out, no were waiting for two groups scheduled before you. Waited 15 minutes, pleading to go, finally given the pro shop go ahead only to be stopped by the cart cleaner who wanted to be in charge that day...ball busting is the staff's speciality I guess. Course was in great shape, especially the greens. Once on the course we had a hole open in front of and behind us thru 18...so much for "policing" us low-life Golf Now patrons.. Harassing locals is a good way to go hungry in the off season. Great course, poor customer service.
My friends and I hadn’t played here in about 2 years and we had a great time. I would highly recommend the Eagle’s Point Experience. I won’t wait another 2 years before I play again.
Nothing makes this course stand out. No special holes conditions average given recent weather. Staff was friendly
Unfortunately, I played after several days of rain and the course was very soggy.
Greens were very slow. The tees were a little sparse on grass. Course was manicured.
Traps were atrocious with standing water in several (lost a ball in the trap water!).
Greens needed to be cut but understandable due to the circumstances.
Overall, the layout was good without too much water as is typical of Hilton Head courses.
One of the best
I’d love to play this all the time! A great well manicured course with which is quite challenging and lots of fun to play!
Can’t wait to get to HH and play again.
Very Nice course.
Beautiful course with challenging layout. We played for $40 PP so was definately worth the money.
Only downside was that the greens were freshly airated and sanded. This is to be expected because of the time of year. But it will realistically cost you 3 or 4 strokes per 9 if you are a decent putter.
Odd note: I asked if DL3 comes to the course often since his name is on the design team and he plays The Heritage each year which is 20 mins away. They told me he came on grand opening day 20 years and hasn't come once since. Seems odd but doesnt take away from the course.
