Pass Christian Isles Golf Club
About
One of the oldest golf courses on the Gulf Coast, the Pass Christian Isles Golf Club is known for having very small greens, as were most courses designed in the early 1900s. It also has tree-lined fairways and strategically positioned water hazards. Water comes into play on six of the holes, which adds to the beauty of the layout.
Originally designed by Tom Bendelow in 1914, Pass Christian Isles Golf Club has undergone two major renovations (when it re-opened in 1952 and again in 2004), with painstaking efforts made to retain its turn-of-the-century charm. The 18-hole, par-72 course, measures 6,396 yards from the longest tees. The course rating is 70.1, with a slope rating of 124.
The golf course is rated one of the top 10 courses in South Mississippi. The 18th hole has been ranked one of the hardest holes in the state as well as the state's hardest finishing hole.

Nice course
Fairways were good. Only one green was kind of messed up but I can tell they had just fixed it. The pace of play was good we weren't backed up. Greens rolled fine. Friends didn't know you had a to wear a collard shirt but they were nice enough to let them borrow ones for free. I'd play here again.
more difficult than it looks
1st time playing the course and it is more difficult than it looks . Some small greens made for some errant shots and the greens were bumpy. Overall a good day WITH GOOD WEATHER
Nice Course
A nice little small town country club. Still recovering from Katrina in some aspects but overall a fun fairly easy course to play. Always on my list of favorite courses to play
Great course for the money!
The first time I played this course the greens where in rough shape. This time they have come back and the overall course has really improved. If you are in this area you need to play it.
Two group of 5 in front of us 4 hours to play we were a group of 2
Asked if we could start on back nine was told no then watched 4 other groups do it. Tee time was 8:15am but have a group of 15 starting at 8:00 am so we didn't get started until almost 8:30.
Gulf Coast Golf
Thoroughly enjoyed this round of golf on our recent trip to Mississippi's Gulf Coast. The course was in decent shape considering the parched weather for this time of year. The day we played the heat was brutal. Nonetheless, we found the course to be quite nice.
This course was very busy
The course was fun to play. it was very busy. Course was in good shape.
Canadian golfer
Golfed this course 3 times & the conditions of the course got better each time. Course is walkable & would suggest they have a few pull carts available for travellers.
We like the greens placements
We always enjoy playing here. Everyone is friendly and the course is always in good condition. The only thing that I would add is more water to drink on the course.
Soggy
The course was in winter conditions, and a lot of fun yet challenging. The only issue I had was the standing water and the course was very soggy. Other than that, it was a good course.
Good for this time of year.
I play this course about once a week, it is good condition for this time of the year. The fairways are narrow with trees on both sides on most holes. Plays longer than yardage indicates.
Low Budget Golf
I thought being in Pass Christian and on the sound that it would afford a decent view. But it doesn't. It does have tree lined fairways and doglegs left and right. Greens not overly fast and ball marks were like craters on the very slow greens. Greens smallish in nature and had some type of fungus on a few of them. DID enjoy my day and got an excellent rate of GOLFNOW 22$. That alone was the best feature. I would play it again.
bring insect spray, tree lined fairways
the course appears flat and the assumption it is easy but it is moderately challenging, due to the fairways being tree lined. I would play it again as a secondary course to any golf outing.
nice course fast pace of play
good shape, the greens were nice and fast.
the guy running the place was very helpful.
Would not play it again
Greens were all dying. Course was not in good condition at all. Had we known how bad the greens were, we would not have played there. Quite unfair we were not informed, but we played anyway since we were there. Not easy to find either.
a nuce outing
coutse in an interesting area and a good time. played in about 3 hours and would recommend....
Great Value for the Money
The course isn't long but it is challenging. Fairways are relatively narrow and lined with trees. Holes, from par 3 to par 5, feature sand traps and water hazards that make the course a good one for even seasoned golfers to play. The low price makes for crowds on some days, but it's a nice place to play.
It was very wet from a rainstorm so the condition was hard to rate.
The course was cart path only since it had rained. We still played in three hours. Friendly staff.
Greens in good shape. Very fast
Greens were in good shape but very, very fast. The fairways were lacking of grass because of winter conditions
cant beat the price
the course is decent and fairly well kept. i played it during the winter so there were quite a few dead spots and the course was not manicured to perfection. for $13 dollars though, you can't beat it. if you are looking for a spectacular view or magazine worthy holes, this is not the course for you. if you want a nice round of golf for jvery cheap, it's perfect.
