Old South Golf Links

Generous fairway landing areas. Greens were rolling true and not too fast. Overall conditions were good for this time of year.

The course was in good shape for the time of year. Greens were somewhat fast and rolled true.

Old South is a really nice course with a couple of tricky holes (16 & 7). These two holes are very tough because they are target golf and you have to hit to landing areas. Pace of play was affected by these two holes due to difficulty. Staff was great also.

Course was in good shape, but still suffered from the typical late winter conditions. Greens were slow. Most of the course played like a traditional coarse (grip it and rip it) but there were ~3 holes that were gimmicky (funky) which I didn’t care for. No issues with pace of play.

Just not in good condition. Had to move ball often to avoid bare spots on greens

Course is in a beautiful setting, great views everywhere. However, course conditions could use some work. Bare spots on many greens, fairways were ok, but many had dead areas. Tee boxes ok. Would love to come back next year & see if any improvements were made.

Course was in good condition, a couple of greens had some bare spots, not surprising with wet winter/early spring. Green speed was slower than expected, also not surprising with weather warming and grass growing. We were third group out, played in 3.5 hours, for us great pace of play.

Would definitely recommend course and would play here next time in Hilton Head.

Pretty busy day of play. The pace of play was on schedule with no waiting from hole to hole. The staff does a great job keeping players moving from the range to around all 18 holes.

Overall fun to play neat layout and fairly good conditions. Green were in good shape but very slow which makes this course just average.

Friendly staff, great course layout. GPS in carts, no complaints!

First time playing. Course layout - fun and ingenious. Friendly player's assistant. Helped with explanation of course layout. Pace of play - great for weekend!
