Reviews
Dormant greens were atrocious
Friendly staff. They book both front and back nines, which can lead to backups when play slows down, and the morning wave has not made the turn and the afternoon tee times are slated to start. We played the back nine first, and when we were coming to #8 our 17th hole, you could see three groups backed up on the first tee. Course was wetter than I would have figured, since I can not remember when we had measurable rain. For as wet as the course was the greens were bone dry. Being dry, dormant bermuda, that is dyed instead of over seeded made the greens super slick. They could just as easily pave the greens with asphalt, paint them green, and probably have slower green speeds. Would be nice to play them when they are growing.
In season it may be worth the price, off season just beware of the greens and how it will affect your overall round.
Target greens
Course in good condition. Very very small green. I really enjoyed my round would definitely go back
Burning Ridge
Burning Ridge Golf Club offers a challenging course with friendly bag handlers, although the closed range and lack of a chipping area were drawbacks. Cart path only affected course conditions, and slow greens added to the challenge. Overall, I'd recommend it for future play.
good day
I read the reviews about the club and for the most part they were spot on. The staff was a pleasant experience. The course looked nice and well prepared. It played that way. Anything that went wrong was self inflicted. A very pleasant play. The clubhouse was nice as well and the young lady at the bar was personable and professional. Been a while since I came away from a round feeling this comfortable.
Played it with a member!
Course was in good shape I played with a member so that was a plus it does have a few tricky spots on it so you have to be careful. I would recommend it and play it again .
Very nice overall course. Greens were in good shape as was the rest of the golf course.
Would definitely play again.
Right up there.
Me and My daughter came here for spring break and this course did not disappoint. I would rank this course right up there with some of the best courses I have played. The layout was challenging while the views were awesome. What a course. Keep up the good work and kudos to the grounds crew.
Nice Course
First play here, pace 3.5 hrs for 18 holes. Some hidden water was a little windy that effected some shots. Some small green mixed in, rolled nice but were soft from weather and had some dimpling from ball marks. Nice layout would play again. Staff friendly enough to keep their jobs.
Only had time for for the bank 9,
wish I could have played the full course, it was a comfortable day… played along with my wife and a stranger who immediately became our friend. There were many mixed couples playing which we enjoyed playing ahead of us and the pace of play great…I will be back!!
