Pretty nondescript, easy course. Greens were in excellent condition and fairways were fine but the layout and difficulty were not great. Better course for a higher handicap player. The course routing was also a bit odd with holes in four different quadrants. The last 6 holes were nice. Not a course I would play again.
should have been notified
course had a car show on 18th fairway, making that hole temporary and parking was impossible...my complaint IS that we should have been notified of this event by either the course or golfnow so that WE could decide if we wanted to play...having said that, the staff did an outstanding job of handling this very difficult situation
Nice round of golf
We had a fun round. The course is well-maintained and interesting. The greens roll nicely and are in excellent condition. I applaud that they water judiciously so that fairways are vivid green but the rough is brown (although not hard to hit from). It has enough challenge for a 22- handicapper while also being manageable. A couple of the par 3s are long for women. The course is a bit chopped up with some holes tucked between houses and with a few road crossings which are safe but take away from the overall flow. At the end of the round, if you show your card in the pro shop, you get a free drink. The couple we played with had no problem getting this coupon while we were told Hot Deals do not get this. Minor point, but they had gotten a Hot Deal too!
The carts are new and well-equipped.
Overall was a very good experience. Nice course, layout and conditions. Starter not the friendliest but ok. Would definitely play again.
Nice wide fairways that are challenging with all the bunker placements. Staff very friendly, clubs were being cleaned while we were putting on18.
Will be back...
The course is in excellent shape. Greens roll true. Best grass we have seen in years.
Excellent greens and clubhouse
Greens were phenomenal. Tee to green in great shape. Some fun holes. Paid $109. Felt more like a $79-89 course. Big rock restaurant is cool. Lots of fun. Free beer there after your round.
Roughs not overseeded. Lots of street crossings through neighborhoods and one major intersection.
Great value for the money
Love this course - challenging enough and not too much water! Always paired up with great people and the Big Rock pub is always waiting when you finish 18!
Big Rock / Indian Springs
Good conditions with overseed in fairways. Not especially narrow, there is some room to play. The course including the taps are well maintained. Time of play = 4 hours.
Golf in Desert
Loved this course, very challenging but not too tough Would recommend this to experienced player or casual player
Wonderful experience from check in to 19th hole
Very friendly staff and I mean everyone from pro shop to servers, super clean, beautiful greens and wide fairways, lots of water but not frustrating.
We were thrilled, good value we will return. Best course so far in the area.
Fair course with a few challenging holes. Winter grass not totaling established but still playable. Enjoyable layout and finished in a little over 4 hours.
course is always fun - some easy holes and some real tough ones - prices have gone up dramatically the last 3 years
