It was 112 def when we teed off so pace of play was never an issue
Greens were really nice ! Balls were holding greens all day!
This is a fun course. Some challenging holes and some easy holes. It's fun for anyone.
The course was better than expected. Bunkers were very good. Greens rolled nice. Fairways in great shape. Water was deep. Just ask a few of the balls I put in there. Also no driving range right now.
Great Golf Course
Great course, wide fairways, very forgiving. Beautiful course
Another great day at Indian Spings
Couldn't pass up the price($40 on Golfnow) so my wife and I went out a little later in the day. Staff was great, very few people on the course so they put us out right away by ourselves and we played at a relaxed pace(3 1/2 hours). I thought some of the non-fairway areas could have been better manicured for a more pleasant visual, but it didn't impact your round if you kept your ball in the ample fairways(I didn't). Course was in very good condition and played fair. Facilities at"Big Rock" are great. Drinks and food are reasonably priced and very good..
Great staff make the course a destination for us Canadians. Alberto was a nice finish as our waiter. Super service. Pro shop, Starter, Beverage Cart staff is second to none. Thankyou
We loved this course with its generous fairways and excellent greens. Friendly, helpful staff and a great after golf patio.
Beautiful course in excellent shape. Best greens I have seen in years. Can’t say enough.
Big Rock Golf
Great value. One of the best kept courses in the area! Had a mid day round booked for my son and I. We’re paired up with a couple nice folks from Jersey. All the employees were very nice and on top of everything. Bag drop was well tended and golf shop nicely stocked. Great food and cold drinks in the pub topped off with terrific customer service. Will definitely come back to this one. All in all, great experience for the price.
Friendly staff and great after round bar
Very friendly staff with the course in reasonable condition. Practice facilities limited due to recent storm washing away the driving range/practice area.
Course winds through some fairly old housing areas which can detract from the overall ambiance
of the round. In addition, the course layout requires crossing a busy public street in your cart using the public crosswalk and pedestrian crossing signal (not a comfortable feeling) a few times.
Good course for staying out of trouble with wide open fairways.and only one or two quirky holes.
Round felt really slow with waiting on almost every hole, yet finished the round in 3 1/2 hours.
Fun, easy and fair
Course was in great condition but the range was washed out so that was disappointing but not the fault of mgmt. it’s not long so go back on the tees for more challenge. Greens are in great shape and not tricky so you can make some puts. Played as threesome in 3.5 hours, could have been quicker if needed, no one behind us, foursome ahead kept great pace. You don’t need driver on many holes if you want to play to avoid bunkers but you can also bomb away if you want, very open landing areas. I’m a 8 handicap and shot par. After game beer on patio was also very enjoyable.
Pleasant not Outstanding
This course in not very scenic although it does have some good things about it. The fairways were in very good shape and the greens were pretty fast and true. We played in 4 hours, although at the turn, 2:10, we were told that we were 15 minutes behind. Not sure where the starter got his info from. This upset us a bit.
The course wanders around a lot, the signage is good, so you will not get lost. We crossed at least 4 streets during our round. This course is OK, but I will not rush back. There are a lot of courses at the price point which are much better visually than this one.
Course was okay. The last six holes were really good. Greens did not hold but that is expected in this area.
Indian Springs has it going on. The course was in excellent shape, the greens were firm and fast, probably a stimp of 11. the Big Rock patio is the place to go afterwards. Great service, friendly staff, totally recommend.
Indian Springs Golf Course
Played here before. Today pace of play was excellent finished in 3 1/2 hours and the course was in fabulous condition. Greens were pretty fast and rolling true, but have some tricky breaks, but fair. Pin positions were fair and the course itself is fair, no tricked up holes. I enjoyed the round and always like playing here, one of my favorite courses. If you haven't played here you are missing out!!
Course is fun, doable yet challenging. Several holes require strategic ball placement to escape a big number.
Course meanders around a quiet and attractive golf community.
Liquid refreshments at theme restaurant are intoxicating
Played the Blues (6197/69.9/122) in slightly more than 4H using Forelinx. The weather was partly cloudy, around 75 and windy. Matched up with Chris and Jeremy, on vacation from Oregon.
The over seeded tees were lush and well maintained. All but the par 3's were in very good shape.
The over seeded fairways were lush and played well.
The Bermuda rough is just long enough to grab your club where it is mixed with other grasses and just short enough to sometimes be hardpan where it is nothing but dormant Bermuda. The rough around the greens is very lush.
The sand traps were nicely maintained with medium texture brown sand.
The greens were smooth, firm & putted medium fast. Recent small tyne punch dies not affect putting. No severe slopes or tiers, I usually see the lines well on these greens.
The customer service was excellent from everyone encountered. Drink cart out making the rounds. The carts are equipped with nice GPS. This would be a challenging course to walk. Numerous tees are a long way from the last green because the course is split up between multiple residential complexes. Fairly wide open layout with a good mixture of holes. Fun course to play. Recommended.
