Oceanside Golf Course

This is the course I started playing on years ago. It's been a beater, it's been a good course and now it's an even better course. They got rid of a lot of trees, replaced some areas with 'transition' areas (sand, gravel, etc.) and the greens were perfect, which wasn't always the case. I normally play Marine Memorial for about the same price. This course is actually harder. I actually lost a ball this round, something I haven't done in over 25 rounds at Marine Memorial. We were done in 3 1/2 hours, had a good time and the course was great. Can't beat that.

Have been playing Oceanside Muni for 25 yrs, Fairways cushy, and Greens running fast. Best shape this track has ever been in !

Played on Aug 3, 19 in the hottest season in the year, I think the fairway and green are well maintained, though I heard a lot of voices from golfers, saying the course condition was lousy last year. I hope the fairway will be lush green as it is through this year and that golfers playing here support the course to stay beautiful and fun..

Played early in morning. Pace of play was excellent. Greens were excellent. Played from blues. Course was challenging. Any tee times after 8:00AM, you will encounter walkers. Fairways were in good condition.

The fairways and greens are in great shape. I enjoyed the layout of the course. The elevayed par three was fun.

First time we played this course and I was surprised. This is the best municipal course I’ve ever played. The greens are in perfect condition as well as the fairways. The layout is challenging but there are a few easy holes. You can’t beat this course for the money. If you play it, you’ll enjoy your round.

My wife and I played this course today and we were very happy and pleased with the layout, condition and challenges of the course. The greens were in “PERFECT” shape. The pace of play was great. It was a short but again challenging layout. The sand traps had sand in them!! This is a municipal course that is in better condition than some country clubs we’ve played and we live and play a couple of times a week in Plam Springs. Play this course!! You’ll enjoy your round!!!

We tee’d off about 6:45am and finished in 3 hr 20 min. The course is in really good condition and the greens are receptive!
This course is challenging because of its set-up. Dog legs abound so shot placement is crucial. It’s an enjoyable round!!!

Great experience would recommend to anyone staff friendly course in good shape pace of play ok 4 hours would definitely go back

As a bogey golfer, I find this a fun, challenging course. Minimal bare spots along with long rolls on the fairway help my game. Bar staff friendly, pro shop held us to our tee time even though no one in front of us for 20 min. I would play again.

Course was in great shape. Played with a guy who is a member of a private course & his comment was Oceanside
Muni was kept much nicer than his private membership course.
We enjoyed our round very much.

My overall experience at oceanside golf course was pleasant. The course was in alright condition. There's a lot of gravel around the sides of the rough which is a little untasteful and the rough is anything but consistent..the greens were also recently punched so they played rather slow. Overall the course has a nice layout that makes it fun and challenging.

I paid online for 18 holes with a cart. I had to pay an additional cart fee at the club house because I wanted to ride on my own cart instead of being paired up with a random person. Had to pay twice for my own cart. Staff overcharges for no reason. Go as a pair or don’t go at all. Very disappointed.
