The Club at ArrowCreek - Legend Course
About
The Legend at The Club at ArrowCreek brings Arnie's Army to Reno's golf and gambling mecca. Or at least, Arnold Palmer's golf course design touch. Palmer is the architect of Legend, one of two 18-hole showcase courses at The Club at ArrowCreek. Legend throws forced carries, striking native desert grasses and plush speedy greens at golfers without trying to beat them up quite as much as its sister course, The Challenge.
Palmer - the people's champion - seems to undertand how to put together a course for the people too. ArrowCreek Legend weaves around ravines, dry creeks and rocks. It can really give the golfer a sense of being away from it all - even though it's a quick drive to Reno's downtown casinos.
ArrowCreek Legend's finishing stretch tends to leave golfers talking. No. 17 is a short 294-yard par 4 that just screams at players to try and carry the big bunker in front of the green. Usually in score-deflating futility. Then, No, 18 throws a 442-yard par 4 that includes a big ravine carry at golfers.
Don't relax once you're on the green eihter. ArrowCreek Legend's 18 is the fastest green on the entire course. And ArrowCreek takes pride in its fast greens.

Legends Course
Best shape I've seen the course in a good while. Greens are rolling smooth and QUICK!! Fairways are improving. Can't wait to come back
Really enjoyed the staff and course
The staff was extremely friendly and customer service was great! The starter was outstanding. Would recommend this course to everyone.
Awesome value due to golf now
For the money that I paid, best deal ever. Awesome layout and very tough or very east depends on the box you play. Best greens I have played in 2 years.
Arrow Creek Great
Staff in all of the facility is Excellent-
courses are high quality
Thumbs up
Great layout, great course, great shape. Food and beverage way overpriced and non existent on the course
Arrowcreek Legends
Very nice track. Some very challenging holes complimented by equally easy holes. Target golf on many holes, which makes it a better scoring round if you're not too risky.
It has it's up's and downs
The course was in nice shape, the greens were a little beat up but overall alright. My memory may be bad, but I don't rememer any water on the course except for the fountains inside the bathrooms. Like every other course in Reno\Sparks, it gets windy after lunch. Would have have bought a course book if they sold one to know where I was going. No GPS on carts and no cart refreshments. Glad I packed water and Gatorade....but ran out by the turn. Best thing...the wife stopped to get a hot dog at the turn. They didn't have any ready so they cooked some for her. They took so long we were on the tee box of 12..but the lady inside the grill ran her out to us on a cart...very good service.
Target golf
Great course that also includes great views of Reno.Greens are hard and fast.
wow what a golf course
This is a beautiful golf course high above Reno with spectacular views of the city. The course was amazing with some incredibly difficult holes including a par 3 that is 230 yards long and all carry! Bring plenty of golf balls with you. This is definitely one of the hardest courses I have ever played.
Very difficult
Very nice course, extremely difficult for an average player such as myself. The greens were very nice, the fairways were a little rough and spotty in places.
nice course lacking a couple of essentials.....
while a very good, and challenging, course with beautiful facilities, the course lacked a couple of substantial things.
Not only was there no drinking water anywhere on the course, it was also very much lacking in signage and yardage markers.
First time visitors like our party were at the course's mercy without any help. No Course guide available. and very few yardage markers of any kind except for 150 yard markers.
This subtracted considerably with our enjoyment of the course-that and the 5 hour round.....
Excellent golf course
One of the best in reno/tahoe area Definitely need to try golf course!!!
A Good Test
Greens and fairways still in spring condition. Bumpy (recently punched) greens. Challenging but fair, with arroyo forced carries that get your attention. Several unsighted landing areas suggest local knowledge would make a good partner. Practice your uphill/downhill lies for this one. Facility was clean and well maintained. Staff was friendly. If you bring an easy course handicap, keep the wager small and the ego on hold.
Challenging course
Played this course in May just after the snows had left , but in fairness to the ground staff the course looked great. We played off the comp tees and this makes the course very long. If you're a golfer with an ego this course will bring you down to size. Loved every minute out there.
Mountain Views!!
Beautiful views of the mountain range and the city of Reno.
Views
Great views and friendly staff. Greens were pretty rough but a good day of golf.
Course presents great challenges.
Greens had not yet recovered from aeration/sanding so maybe played too soon. A beautiful, scenic, challenging (from rust tees) for me at 72 years old, and overall in very good condition. Excellent price thru golf now. Would do it again.
Thanks
Thanks for the good rates. I would not like to pay more than $30 which is within my budget.
nice course in poor condition
I have played here before and loved the place. this time was different. The greens were terrible and holes were closed. the pro shop did not mention any of this when I checked on booking and they said nothing (no signs at the desk either) when I checked in. Even at a discounted price our experience was disappointing.
A to Z Course
There are some really great holes here. Conditioning is kind of rough. The par 5 3rd hole temporarily plays as a par three. It seems they have been working on this hole for years which was real disappointing. The potential for being a great course is there, they just need to step back and see what conditioning improvements are a priority. However, I know its tough coming out of a poor economy.
